Özet

Bu çalışma, hemşirelerin toplumsal cinsiyet algısının evlilikte kadına yönelik fiziksel şiddete ilişkin görüşlerine etkisini belirlemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Tanımlayıcı nitelikteki çalışmanın evrenini, İstanbul Okan Üniversitesi Hastanesinde 1 Temmuz- 1 Ekim 2018 tarihleri arasında çalışan 156 hemşire oluşturmuş; örneklem seçilmeden evrenin tamamına ulaşılmak istenmiş, ancak izinli/raporlu ve çalışmaya katılmak istemeyen hemşireler olması nedeniyle 136 hemşire ile çalışma tamamlanmıştır. Araştırmada veriler, tanımlayıcı veri formu, Altınova ve Duyan (2013) tarafından geçerlilik ve güvenilirlik çalışması yapılan Toplumsal Cinsiyet Algısı Ölçeği (TCAÖ) ve Ercan (2009) tarafından geliştirilmiş olan Evlilikte Kadına Yönelik Fiziksel Şiddet Ölçeği (EKYFŞÖ) ile elde edilmiştir. Verilerin değerlendirilmesinde, sayı-yüzdelik hesaplamaları, Kruskal-Wallis, Man-Whitney U test, Independent t testi ve Anova testleri kullanılmıştır. Çalışmaya katılan hemşirelerin, %52,2'si şimdiye kadar toplumsal cinsiyet ile ilgili bir eğitim almadığını, %39'u kadına yönelik şiddet ile ilgili eğitim almadığını ifade etmiş; %27,2'si fiziksel şiddete uğradığını belirtmiştir. Hemşirelerin TCAÖ puan ortalaması 97,40±14,64 ve EKYFŞÖ puan ortalaması 35,78±7,80 olarak bulunmuştur. The aim of this study was to determine the effect of social gender perceptions of nurses on their views on physical violence against women. The population of this descriptive study was formed by 156 nurses working between 1 July and 1 October 2018 at Istanbul Okan University Hospital. All of the universe was desired to be reached before sampling but the study was completed with 136 nurses due to the fact that there were nurses who are off-duty, who are on sick-leave and who did not want to participate in this study. The data of study were obtained by using the Social Gender Perception Scale which was conducted by Altınova and Duyan (2013), and the Scale of Physical Violence against Women in The Marriage developed by Ercan (2009). Number-percentage calculations, Kruskal-Wallis, Mann-Whitney U test, t test and Anova tests were used in the evaluation of data. 52.2% of the nurses who participated in the study stated that they had not received any gender-related education so far and 39% of them did not receive education on violence against women; 27.2% of them reported that they suffered physical violence. The mean score of Social Gender Perception Scale was found to be 97,40 ± 14,64 and the mean score of the scale of Physical Violence Against Women in The Marriage was found to be 35,78 ± 7,80.
