Özet

Çocuklar toplumların geleceğini oluşturmaktadır. Çocukluk dönemine özel bir ilgi gösterilmesi toplumların ihtiyacı haline gelmiştir. Çocukların istismara açık ve kendilerini koruma, geliştirme konusundaki yetersizlikleri çocuk hakları kavramını gündeme getirmiş, zaman içerisinde çocuğun korunması ve çocuğa yönelik hukuki düzenlemelerin oluşmasını ve gelişmesini beraberinde getirmiştir. Çocuk haklarına ilişkin bu gelişmelerin yanı sıra farklı araştırmaların yapılması toplumun tüm kesimlerinde farkındalık yaratmak adına önemlidir. Bu nedenle bu araştırmada eğitim fakültesi ve hukuk fakültesi öğrencilerinin çocuk haklarına yönelik tutumları çeşitli değişkenlere göre incelenmiştir. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak Kepenekçi (2006) tarafından geliştirilen“Çocuk Haklarına Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği”kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada örneklem alınmaya gidilmemiş, evrenin tamamı örneklem olarak alınmış ve evrenin tümüne ulaşılmaya çalışılmıştır. Tarama modelinin kullanıldığı araştırmada elde edilen veriler normal dağılım göstermediğinden Non parametrik testler kullanılmıştır. İki kategorili değişkenler için Mann Whitney U-Testi, ikiden fazla kategorili değişkenler için ise Kruskall Wallis H-Testi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın sonucunda öğrencilerin çocuk haklarına yönelik tutumları yüksek düzeyde bulunmuştur. Araştırmada cinsiyet, sınıf düzeyi ve eğitim fakültesi öğrencilerinin bölüm türü değişkenlerine göre çocuk haklarına yönelik tutumlarında farklılaşma bulunmuştur. Kardeş sayısı, mezun olunan lise türü, anne-baba eğitim düzeyi, anne-baba meslek durumu ve fakülte türü değişkenlerine göre öğrencilerin çocuk haklarına yönelik tutumlarında farklılaşma bulunmamıştır.

Children are the future of society. In this sense, there has been a need to Show special attention to childhood. Child maltreatment, lack of self-protection and development has brought the concept of children's rights, the protection of the child and the development of legal arrangements for the child to the agenda. In addition to these developments regarding child rights, conducting different studies is important in order to raise awareness in all segments of society. Therefore in this study which is based on with the aim of bringing different perspectives on the subjectand educating and informing all parties about the issue, the attitudes of the faculty of law and the students of the education faculty towards children's rights were examined according to various variables.“Attitudes towards Children's Rights Scale”developed by Kepenekçi (2006) was used as data collection tool in the research. Sampling was not done in the study, the whole of the universe was taken as a sample and all the universe was tried to be reached. The survey model was used in the research and non-parametric tests were used because the data obtained in the research did not show a normal distribution. The Mann-Whitney U-Test was used for the two-category variables, and the Kruskall Wallis H-Test was used for variables with more than two categories. As a result of the research, students' attitudes towards children's rights were found to be high. In the research, there were differences in attitudes towards children's rights according to gender, class level and also by faculty type variables of education faculty students. There are no found differences in the attitudes of the students towards children's rights according to the number of siblings, the type of high school graduated, the level of parent education, the profession status of the parents and the faculty type.
