Özet
Ülkemizin önemli yerleşim yerlerinden biri olan Sivas, tarihsel süreçte birçok medeniyete ev sahipliği yapmıştır. Bu durum, Sivas ilini birçok yönden etkilemiştir. Bu etkilenmelerin başında hiç şüphesiz ki yerleşim adları gelmektedir. Biz de bu çalışmamızda sosyo-kültürel olarak büyük önem arz eden Sivas'ın yerleşim yer adlarını ele alacağız. Çalışmamız Giriş bölümünde, Sivas ili tarihçesi, sosyal yapısı, seyyahların gözüyle Sivas'ı ve Sivas İl ve ilçelerinin tanıtımı konularını ele alacağız. Birinci bölümde; Sivas ili yerleşim adlarının sözlük çalışmasıyla anlamsal olarak incelenmesi, İkinci bölümde; yerleşim adlarının gramatikal ve etimolojik incelenmesi, üçüncü bölümde de yerleşim adlarının tasnifi konuları yer almaktadır. Giriş bölümünde Sivas ili ve ilçelerinin tarihi, fiziki, coğrafi ve sosyolojik özellikleri Sivas Kültür ve Turizm İl Müdürlüğü'nden alınan Sivas İl Yıllığı ve Sivas Kültür Envanteri'nden yararlanılarak bilgi verilmiştir. Birinci Bölüm'de ise Sivas iline ait olan yerleşim yer adları sözlük çalışmasıyla derinlemesine ele alınmıştır. İkinci Bölümde ise Sivas ili yerleşim adlarının gramatikal ve etimolojik incelemesi yapılmıştır. Bu incelemede yerleşim adlarının kökeni, ekleri, kelime birleşmeleri ve tamlamaları derinlemesine incelenmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde ise yerleşim adlarının geniş ölçüde tasnifi yapılmıştır.“ Sivas İli Yerleşim Adları Üzerine Bir Dil İncelemesi”adlı çalışmamızda amacımız Sivas ili, ilçe, belde ve köy yer adlarını şekil ve anlamsal yönden incelemek, tasnifini yapmak ve yer adları çalışmalarına katkı sağlamaktır.

Being one of the important settlements of our country, Sivas has hosted many civilizations in the historical process. This situation affected Sivas province in many ways. The names of settlements are undoubtedly the beginning of these influences. In this study, we will consider the settlement names of Sivas, which are of great importance in terms of socio-cultural importance. In this study, we will discuss the history, social structure of Sivas Province, the presentation of Sivas and Sivas provinces and districts through the eyes of travelers. In the first chapter; Semantic examination of the names of settlement settlements in Sivas province with the dictionary study, In the second part; the grammatical and etymological study of the names of the settlements; and the classification of settlement names in the third chapter. In the introductory part, the historical, physical, geographical and sociological characteristics of the Sivas province and its districts were informed by the Sivas Provincial Yearbook and Sivas Culture Inventory obtained from the Sivas Provincial Directorate of Culture and Tourism. In the first part, the names of the settlements belonging to the province of Sivas are discussed in depth with the dictionary study. In the second part, the grammatical and etymological investigations of the names of the settlements were made. In this review, the origins of the names of the settlements, their attachments, word mergers and phrases are examined in depth. In the third section, the names of the settlements were broadly classified. In our study named ad A Language Analysis on the Names of the Sivas Province anlam, our aim is to examine, classify and classify the Sivas province, district, district and village names in terms of form and semantic aspects and contribute to the study of place names.
