öz HASTANE BİLGİ SİSTEMLERİNİN TASARIMI ve GERÇEKLEŞTİRİLMESİ GÜVEN, Hamza Hakan Yüksek Lisans, Bilgisayar Mühendisliği Bölümü Tez Yöneticisi: Prof. Dr. Asuman DO?AÇ Ocak, 1996, 119 Sayfa Türkiye Bilimsel ve Teknik Araştırma Kurumu'na bağlı Yazılım Araştırma Geliştirme Merkezinde geliştirilen SEVGİ Hastanesi Otomasyon Sistemi, yazar tarafından geliştirilmiş kısımlara ağırlık verilerek, bu tez çerçevesinde açıklanmıştır. Sistemin geliştirilmesi esnasında, bir bilişim sistemi geliştirim işleminin dört evresi, yani analiz, tasarım, oluşturma ve test evreleri, dikkate alınmıştır. Sistem kullanıcı-sunucu mimarisine sahiptir. Sunucu işlemleri Oracle 7. 1 ve kulama işlemleri, Microsoft Visual Basic 3.0 Professional kullanılarak geüştirilmiştir. Kullanıcılar, Oracle'a, yine Oracle'ın Glue servisiyle bağlanmışlardır. Kullanıcı kısmım Visual Basic kullanarak geliştirmek, kullanımı kolay ekranların oluşturulmasını sağlamıştır.Bir hastane bilgi sisteminin bütün parçalan, yani hasta takip, randevu, poliklinik, tahsilat, tetkik, yatan hasta takip, stok ve yönetim destek sistemlerinin otomasyonları gerçekleştirilmiştir. Sistem, halen, SEVGİ Hastanesinde çalışmaktadır. Sistem, SEVGİ Hastanesi için geliştirilmiş olmasına rağmen, başka bir hastane için de kolaylıkla düzenlenerek, yeniden oluşturulabilecek biçimde tasarlanmıştır. Geliştirilen sistem, kullanıcı-sunucu mimarisi kullanması ve grafik kullanıcı arayüzü sağlaması nedeniyle Türkiye'deki benzer amaçla geliştirilen sistemler arasında tektir.

ABSTRACT DESIGN AN IMPLEMENTATION OF HOSPITAL INFORMATION SYSTEMS GÜVEN, Hamza Hakan M.S., Department of Computer Engineering Supervisor: Prof. Dr. Asuman DO?AÇ January, 1996, 119 Pages The SEVGİ Hospital Automation System, which is developed at the Software Research and Development Center of the Scientific and Technical Research Council of Turkey, Middle East Technical University, is described within the scope of this thesis with the emphasis on the part developed by the author of this thesis. Yet, the whole system is summarized for the sake of the completeness. The four phases of an information system development, namely, analysis, design, implementation and testing are taken into consideration during the development of this system. The system has a client-server architecture. Server is realized on Oracle 7. 1 and clients are developed by using Microsoft Visual Basic 3.0 Professional. Clients are connected to mOracle by using Oracle's Glue facility. Developing clients through Visual Basic provided for the implementation of user friendly screens. All aspects of a hospital information system namely, patient pursuit system, appointment system, polyclinic system, revenue system, scrutinize system, inpatient pursuit system, stocking system and managerial support system, are automated. Currently the system is operational at the SEVGİ Hospital. Although the system is developed for the SEVGİ Hospital, it is designed and implemented to be easily portable to any other hospital. When compared with similar products in Turkey, the system developed is unique for the following features: It has a client-server architecture and it has a graphical user interface.
