Özet
Bu araştırma teknolojik uygulamalarla destekli çevre eğitiminin ortaokul 7. sınıf öğrencilerinin çevreye yönelik tutum, davranış ve başarıları üzerine nasıl bir etkisi olduğunu belirlemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırmada yarı deneysel yöntem ve ön test–son test kontrol gruplu deneysel desen kullanılmıştır. Araştırma 2017-2018 eğitim-öğretim yılı I. döneminde Ankara'daki bir devlet ortaokulunda öğrenim gören 7.sınıf öğrencileri ile yürütülmüş ve 12 hafta sürmüştür. 7.sınıf şubelerinden rastgele bir şube kontrol, bir şube deney grubu olarak seçilmiştir. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunda 64 öğrenci (kontrol=32, deney=32) bulunmaktadır. Öğrencilerin çevreye yönelik tutum düzeylerini belirleyebilmek amacıyla“Çevresel Tutum Ölçeği”, çevre sorunlarına yönelik davranışlarını ölçmek amacıyla“Çevre Sorunlarına Yönelik Davranış Ölçeği”ve çevre başarılarını ölçmek amacıyla da ''Çevre Konularına Yönelik Başarı Testi" çalışmanın başında ön test ve çalışma bitiminde son test olarak kullanılmıştır. Veriler Bağımsız Gruplar İçin t-Testi ve Bağımlı Gruplar için t-Testi analizleriyle çözümlenmiştir. Araştırmanın sonucunda deney grubundaki öğrencilerin çevreye yönelik tutum, başarı ve davranış düzeylerinin anlamlı seviyede arttığı, kontrol grubundaki öğrencilerin ise başarı düzeylerinde anlamlı seviyede bir artış gerçekleşirken, tutum ve davranış düzeylerinde anlamlı bir gelişim gerçekleşmediği belirlenmiştir. Bu sonuç teknoloji destekli çevre eğitiminin çevreye yönelik tutum, başarı ve davranışın gelişiminde anlamlı bir etkisi olduğunu göstermektedir. Buna göre çevre eğitiminde teknolojik uygulamalara da yer verilmesi gerektiği önerilebilir.

This study was implemented for the purpose of determining the effect of environment education supported by technological applications on environmental attitudes, behaviors and success of 7th grade secondary school students. In the study, quasi-experimental method and experimental design with pretest-posttest control group were used. The study was carried out with 7th grade secondary school students receiving education in a public school in Ankara during the 1st term of the academic year of 2017-2018 within 12 weeks. A class from the 7th grades was selected randomly as control group and another class experimental group. There were 64 (control=32, experimental=32) students in the study group.“Environmental Attitude Scale”was used for determining environmental attitudes of the students;“Environmental Problems Behavior Scale”for measuring their behaviors concerning environmental problems; and“Environmental Success Test”for measuring their environmental success as pretest at the beginning of the study and posttest at the end of the study. Data were analyzed with Independent Samples t-Test and Dependent Samples t-Test. As a result of the study, it was determined that there was a significant increase in environmental attitudes, behaviors and success of the students in the experimental group and a significant increase in success levels and yet no significant development in attitude and behavior levels of the students in the control group. This result shows that technology-supported environment education has a significant effect on the development of environmental attitudes, behaviors and success. Accordingly, it can be suggested to include technological applications in environment education, as well.
