Özet
Bu araştırmamızda yaşadığı dönemde yeni bir eğitim sistemi oluşturan ve döneminin eğitim filozofları içerisinde önemli bir isim olmayı başarmış John Dewey'in eğitim anlayışı ve oluşturduğu eğitim kuramında çok önemli bir yere sahip olan deneyim kavramının eğitim sistemindeki, yeri, önemi ve etkisini ele alacağız. Araştırmamızda John Dewey'in genel olarak eğitim anlayışı ve onunla ilişkili özgürlük, kültür, demokrasi, bilgi gibi kavramlar ile bunun yanı sıra John Dewey'in düşüncelerini etkileyen akımlar ve filozoflar incelenecek, eğitim üzerine düşüncelerinde deneyimin tüm yönleri, yeni eğitim anlayışına olan katkıları, döneminin geleneksel eğitim anlayışıyla kıyaslanarak gözler önüne serilecektir.

In this study, we will examine the place, importance and effect of John Dewey's understanding of education and the concept of experience, which has a very important place in the education system, which has created a new education system in the period he lived and has become an important name among the educational philosophers of his time. In our research, John Dewey's general understanding of education and related concepts such as freedom, culture, democracy, knowledge, as well as the currents and philosophers that affect John Dewey's thoughts will be examined, all aspects of experience in his thoughts on education, his contributions to the new education traditional education approach will be revealed.
