Özet
Sinema günümüzde en büyük içerik ve anlam üreticilerinden biri haline gelmiştir. Bu durum sinemanın ortaya çıkış tarihi düşünüldüğünde çok hızlı bir süreç olarak ilerlemiştir. Fotoğraf her zaman sinemayı desteklemiştir. Üretilen bu anlamlar, uzun bir tarihsel süreç sonucu şuan ki halini almışlardır. Günümüzde fotoğrafın ve sinemanın ilişkisini daha iyi anlayabilmek içinde bu tarihi süreç bilinmelidir. Avrupa'nın karışık ve zengin tarihinden beslenerek günümüze gelen bu iki teknolojik aletin ve günümüzün yeni sanat üreticilerinin ilişkisi teknoloji iler beraber gelişerek devam etmiştir. Üretilen anlamlar anlatım dilinin git gide gelişmesi ile beraber zenginleşmiştir. Burada devreye tema girmektedir. Metafor ise onun en büyük yardımcısıdır. Metafor ve temaların günümüzdeki en büyük üreticisi konumunda olan sinema köklerinden asla kopmamıştır. Fotoğraf ile ilişkisi devam etmiştir. Avrupa sineması buna en iyi örnektir. Avrupa Sineması temaları ve metaforları diğer sinemalardan çok daha yoğun kullanmaktadır. Bu bağlamda sinemanın ve fotoğrafın temasal ilişkisini inceleyebilmek için günümüz Avrupa sineması detaylı bir şekilde incelenecektir. İnceleme yöntemi olarak Lackoff ve Johnson'ın metafor teorisi olan Kognitif Linguistik görüşü seçilmiştir. İncelenen filmler 2000'ler ve sonrası Avrupa sineması ait filmlerdir. Seçilen filmlerin içinde fotoğraf tema ve metafor olarak kullanılmıştır. Filmler sıra ile Palermo Shooting , Arakhi The Killing of a Japanese Photographer, İmpassioned Eye, The Decisive Moment , Uzak ve Photographtır.

Cinema is the biggest content and meaning producer nowadays. Think the first invention of cinema. The development of cinema is grow very fast. Photograph always support to cinema. The production of meaning and content find a real form in this historical process. If we look the photograph and cinema history, we must know this historical process. These two Technologic device feeding this historical source. Both of them developing with the technology same time and they are the new, biggest content producer in 21. Century. The produced meaning is develop to the narrative language. We find the theme at this moment. Metaphor is the biggest helper of theme. You can find easily lots of metaphor and theme in the art of cinema. The European cinema is the most well-known art of cinema producer the World. İn this meaning if we want to search photograph and cinema theme and metaphor relationship. Because of the in this thesis we look the European cinema. Lackoff and Johnson Metaphor theory is the research method of this thesis. We are search and analyze in the rich photographic metaphoric content European Cinema After 2000's. These films are Palermo Shooting, Arakhi the Killing of a Japanese Photographer, İmpassioned Eye, The Decisive Moment and Photograph.
