Özet
Bu çalışmada 2018-2019 eğitim-öğretim yılında 6 ve 7. sınıf Türkçe ders kitaplarındaki temalar ve metin türleri incelenecektir. Ders kitapları öğretim programlarının uygulanmasında en temel kaynaklardır. Bu bağlamda kitaplar içinde yer alan temalar, metinler ve bu metinlerin türleri önem arz etmektedir. Çalışmada doküman analizi yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Farklı yayınevlerine ait 6. ve 7. sınıf ders kitaplarında bulunan temalar incelenmiştir. Aynı zamanda bu temalar içinde yer alan okuma metinlerinin türleri belirlenmiş ve bu türler aynı sınıf düzeyinde farklı yayınevleri arasında karşılaştırılmıştır. Ortak kullanılan temalardaki metin türleri üzerine de inceleme yapılmıştır. Farklı yayınevlerine ait ders kitaplarındaki temalar ve türler 2018 Türkçe Dersi Öğretim Programı'nda yer alan tema ve türler ile karşılaştırılmıştır. İncelenen ders kitaplarındaki okuma metinleri beş farklı Türkçe öğretmeninin de incelemesine sunulmuş ve ortaya çıkan metin türleri belirlenmiştir. Çalışmada 6. sınıflarda MEB ve Eksen yayınlarına ait ders kitapları ile 7. sınıflarda MEB ve Dersdestek yayınlarına ait ders kitapları incelemeye alınmıştır. İnceleme sonucunda aynı sınıf düzeyinde farklı yayınevlerinde birbirinden farklı türlerin kullanıldığı sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Ortak temalarda kullanılan türlere bakıldığında farklı türlerin kullanıldığı sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Özellikle bazı metinlerin türlerinin doğru belirlenemediği ya da metinlerin türlerinin özelliğini yansıtacak şekilde verilmediği görülmüştür. Bazı metin türlerinin de birbiri ile çok karıştırıldığı tesbit edilmiştir. Temalar açısından bakıldığında farklı yayınevlerinde birbirine yakın temaların kullanıldığı görülmüştür ancak temalar içinde yer alan bazı metinlerin içinde bulunduğu temalara uygun olacak şekilde yerleştirilmediği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Sonuç olarak temaların seçiminde, temaların içinde yer alacak metinlerin seçiminde ve metin türlerinin belirlenmesinde daha titiz davranılması gerektiği görülmüş ve buna yönelik önerilerde bulunulmuştur.

The aim of the study is to analyze the themes and texts about the themes in the Turkish coursebooks of 6th-7th grade in 2018-2019 school year in terms of literary genres. Coursebooks are the basic elements for curriculum in an education program. In this context, themes in these coursebooks, texts and genres of these texts gain value. The method of document review was used in this study. Themes in several coursebooks of 6th-7th grade from different publishing houses were analyzed. Moreover, genres of the texts in context of these themes were identified and these genres were compared by different publishing houses at the same grade level. In addition, an analysis on literary genres about common themes was provided. Themes and genres on these coursebooks from different publishing houses were compared to themes and genres taking part in the 2018 Turkish Course Curriculum. Reading texts from five different coursebooks were submitted to an analysis for five different Turkish teachers and text genres were identified. In this study, 6th grade coursebooks from Ministry of National Education and Eksen publishing houses were analyzed as well as 7th grade coursebooks from MonE and Dersdestek publishing houses. The analysis revealed that different genres were used at the same grade level by different publishing houses. Moreover, it was concluded that different genres were used in terms of genres on common themes. The study showed that especially some texts could not be identified correctly or texts were not given in a way that would reflect the characteristic of its genre. Moreover, it was observed that some text genres were often mistaken for each other. Moreover, it was shown that similar themes were used by different publishing houses in terms of themes analyzed. However, it was concluded that some texts were included in the coursebooks in a way that would not be appropriate to the theme it was attributed to. In light of all these results, it was revealed that selecting the themes and texts on these themes as well as identifying text genres should be conducted in a more careful manner and recommendations were made accordingly.
