Özet
Milattan önceki devirlerden bu yana, yapıların dış ve iç görkeminden hareketle, insanoğlundaki öncelik hep yapı içinde bulunma, estetik olarak algılama odaklı olmuştur. Bunun sebebi, tarih öncesi devirlerden itibaren, insanoğlunun kendini iç mekâna sığınma içgüdüsü ile güven duygu bulmasındandır. Artemis tapınağının ünlü kahramanı“Herostratus”ile verdiğimiz örnekten yola çıkarak, mekânların içinde bulunduğu çağın düşünce gücünü tetikleyip bazen bir kahraman olmaya, bazen de ruhsal bir mekân algısına hizmet ettiği örneğine değinilmiştir. Gösterge bilimi yardımıyla, mekânın sanatçı hayatındaki konumunu incelemeye yönelik araştırmayı daha da açacak olursak; sanatçıların iç mekânı konu alan eserleri, özellikle bazı akımlarda yaşam koşullarına göre değişkenlik göstermektedir. Bu çalışmada, resim akımları göz önünde bulundurularak, o döneme ait eserler sanatçı bakış açısıyla detaylı bir şekilde incelenmiştir. 19. Yüzyıl'dan başlayarak 20. Yüzyıl'ı da içerecek şekilde, birçok sanat akımının analiz edilerek oluşturulduğu ve birçok görselle örneklenen bu çalışmada, Oryantalizm'in doğu mistisizmi duyarlılığını geliştirdiği, Romantizm'in duygusallığı ve öznelliği doruk noktasına taşıdığı ve Simgecilik akımı ile bunun taçlandırılmış olduğu ön plana çıkarılmıştır. Ayrıca, Ön Rafaelcilik, Art Nouveau, Danimarka Okulu Ressamları, Nabiler Grubu, Ard İzlenimcilik, Dışavurumculuk ve Yeni Nesnelcilik'te, iç mekânı konu alan yapıtlarda tinsel temalar ön plana çıkmıştır. Tüm bu akım ve oluşumlarda resim sanatında özellikle iç mekâna odaklanıldığı gözlemlenmiştir. 20. Yüzyıl'a değin gelinen süreçte ise, toplumsal, siyasi, kültürel gelişmelerle şekillenen meydanlar, sokaklar, yapılar özetle, 'Endüstri devrimi'nden ve savaşlardan ağır bir şekilde etkilenmiş dünya uluslarının sanatçılarının eserlerine mekanik bir şekilde yansıması üzerinde durulmuştur.

Since the periods before the BC, The priority of the human being has always been in the structure, aesthetically focused. The reason for this, as we give examples from prehistoric times, is that human beings find feeling of trust with the instinct of asylum. Based on the example whom we called as hero 'Herostratus' temple of Artemis, it was mentioned that the places where the spaces were located triggered the power of thought and sometimes served as a hero and sometimes served a perception of spiritual space. With the help of Semiotics, if we are to open the research to examine the position of the place in artist life; The works of artists related to the interior vary according to various reasons. In this study, especially in some of the movements varying according to the living conditions, the artist's point of view is examined in detail. In this study, which was created by analyzing many art movements from the 19th century until the 20th century, and exemplified by many images, it has been suggested that Eastern mysticism had devoloped the sensitivity of Orientalism. Romanticism reached its peak with its emotionality and subjectivity and that it was crowned by the Symbolism movement. Also, Pre-Raphaelite, Art Nouveau, Danish School Artists, Nabis, Post Impressionism, Expressionism and New Objectivism were prominent with their spiritual themes in their interior space artworks. It has been observed that all these art movements and and art formations have focused to the interior spaces in Painting Art. In the process until the 20th century, squares, streets and structures shaped by social, political and cultural developments were heavily influenced by the industrial revolution and World wars, and were reflected in the works of the artists of the world nations in a mechanical way.
