Özet
Ölüm, hayat kadar gerçektir. Tüm insanları yakından ilgilendiren bu gerçeklik, bütün disiplinlerin temel meselelerinden biridir. Özellikle felsefî ve dinî sistemlerin odağında yer alan ölüm, farklı bakış açılarının doğmasına sebebiyet vermektedir. Çeşitlilik dolayısıyla ortaya çıkan zenginlik, pek çok çalışmaya zemin hazırlayacak niteliktedir. Bu düşüncelerden hareketle, öncelikle tez çalışmamızda ölüm olgusunun felsefî bir panoraması çıkartılmıştır. Ölümle ilgili kavramların tarihsel analizini ortaya koyduktan sonra Doğu ve Batı felsefesinde yer alan düşünürlerin bu konudaki görüşleri incelenmiştir. Ardından tasavvuf felsefesine geçerek tasavvuf literatürünün temel dayanaklarını oluşturan Kur'ân-ı Kerîm ve hadîslerde ölüm kavramının nasıl yer bulduğunu ve mutasavvıfların bu kavramı nasıl yorumladıkları irdelenmiştir. Son olarak Ümmî Sinan'ın Türk-İslâm kültürü içerisinde önemli bir yer edinmesine vesile olan Divân-ı İlâhiyyat eseri çerçevesinde ölüm kavramına bakışı, felsefî bir analize tabi tutulmuştur.

Death is as real as life. This reality that is closely relevant to all human beings is one of the bases of all the disciplines. Death which especially is in the focus of philosophical and religious systems gives rise to new points of views. The wealth that comes from this particular diversity lays the groundwork for new studies. From this notion in our thesis first we derive the philosophical panorama of the death idea. After putting forward historical analysis of the concepts about death, views of the philosophers that that appears in the eastern and western philosophies have investigated. After that how death concept in the Koran and the hadith take place and how the Sufis interpret these concepts in the mysticism has been examined. Lastly, we analyze the Divân-ı İlâhiyyat which is the creation of Ummi Sinan that make him one of the most memorable people in the Turkish-Islamic culture while focusing to the death concepts in a philosophical point of view.
