Özet
Bu tezde L-metiyonin, L-izolösin, D-fenilglisin ve L-fenilalanin aminoasitleri başlangıç maddesi olarak kullanıldı. Deneysel çalışmalar, bu aminoasitlerin benzimidazol türevi benzoil ve naftoil bileşiklerin sentezleri üzerine oluşturuldu. L-metiyonin'in koruyucu ditersiyer bütil dikarbonat tepkimesi sonucu N-Boc-L-metiyonin hazırlandı. N-Boc-L-metiyonin, o-fenilendiamin ve DCC (N,N'-disikloheksilkarbodiimit) varlığında tepkimeye sokularak N-Boc-kiral amit türevi sentezlendi. N-Boc-kiral amit türevi asidik ortamda halkalaşma reaksiyonu vererek N-Boc-kiral benzimidazol türevi sentezlenmiş oldu. Son aşama olarak elde edilen kiral benzimidazol türevi ayrı ayrı benzoil klorür ve 1-naftoil klorür ile tepkimeye sokularak istenen benzoil ve naftoil benzimidazol bileşikleri hazırlandı. Aynı sentez basamaklarının kullanılmasıyla L-izolösin, D-fenilglisin ve L-fenilalanin aminoasitlerinin benzoil ve naftoil benzimidazol bileşikleri de elde edildi. Bileşiklerin yapıları spektroskopik analizler (IR, 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR) ve elementel analiz sonuçları ile teyit edildi.

L-methionine, L-isoleucine, D-Phenyllysine and L-Phenylamine amino acids were used as starting materials in the study. Experimental studies involve the use of benzimidazole derivatives of the selected amino acids to synthesize the benzoyl and naphthoyl compounds. L-methionine' amino functional group was protected by ditertiary butyl dicarbonate as the first step in the synthesis reaction. N-tbutoxycarbonyl-L-methionine was further reacted with o-phenylenediamine in the presence of N,N'-dicyclohexylcarbodiimide to obtain the chiral amide derivatives. N-tbutoxycarbonyl chiral amide derivatives undergo further cyclization reaction in acidic medium to give N-tbutoxycarbonyl chiral benzimidazole derivatives. Derivative of benzoyl benzimidazole and naphthoyl benzimidazole compounds were obtained by seperetely reacting the N-tbutoxycarbonyl chiral benzimidazole derivatives with benzoyl chloride and 1-naphthoyl chloride. Benzoyl and naphthoyl benzimidazole compounds of L-isoleucine, D-phenylglycine and L-phenylalanine amino acids were also obtained using the same synthesis steps. The structures of the synthesized compounds were confirmed by spectroscopic analyses (IR, 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR) and Elemel analysis.
