Özet
İmam hatip okullarının tarihi medreseler dönemine dayanmaktadır. Ortaokul ve lise olarak açılan bu okulların ortaokul kısmı bir dönem kapanmış 2012 yılında geçilen 4+4+4 sistemi ile tekrardan açılmıştır. Çalışmamızda tekrardan açılan bu okulların her yönüyle gelişmesi, öğrenci beklentilerine cevap verebilmesi, eğitim kalitesinin arttırılması için öğrencilerin bu okulları tercih etme sebepleri, bu okullardan beklentileri ve okul tercihlerinin okul beklentilerine etkisini belirlemek için ilişkisel tarama yöntemiyle konuyu ele almaya çalıştık. Araştırmanın evrenini 2017-2018 eğitim-öğretim yılında Erzincan ilinde bulunan Refahiye İHO, Kemah İHO, 15 Temmuz Şehitleri İHO, Çayırlı İHO, Otlukbeli İHO ve Tercan İHO'da okuyan 459 öğrenci oluşturmuştur. Araştırmada likert tipli anket uygulaması yapılmış, elde edilen veriler SPSS programı ile çözümlenmiştir. Öğrencilerin bu okulları kendi istekleriyle tercih etmelerinin yanı sıra ailesinin ve çevresininde kültür yapısını dikkate aldığı, tercih etmeden önce okulları gezip görmedikleri ve rehber öğretmenlerle görüşmedikleri, tercih etmelerinde ise dini beklentilerinin oldukça yüksek olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Öğrencilerin okulları tercih etmeden önce rehber öğretmenlerle görüşmesi, aileleri ile birlikte tercih edeceği okulu görmesi ve hakkında bilgi alması, dini ve eğitsel beklentilerin karşılanması için okul idaresi ve öğretmenler tarafından gerekli tedbirlerin alınması önerilmektedir.

The history of Imam Hatip Schools dates back to Madrasahs Period. Though these schools were opened in secondary and high school levels, the secondary school level of it was closed down for a period but with the new educational system called as 4+4+4, it was reopened in 2012. In this study, we tried to consider the subject by using correlational survey model to define the development of these reopened schools in every aspects, fulfillment of the students' expectations, reasons for preference of the students for these schools to enhance the quality, their expectations from these schools and the effect of the school preferences to expectations. The population of this study is 459 students, studying at Refahiye İmam Hatip Secondary School, Kemah İmam Hatip Secondary School, 15 Temmuz Şehitleri İmam Hatip Secondary School, Çayırlı İmam Hatip Secondary School, Otlukbeli İmam Hatip Secondary School and Tercan İmam Hatip Secondary School in Erzincan in 2017-2018 Educational Year. In the research, likert scale questionnaire was used and the obtained data was analyzed with SPSS program. It is concluded that the students paid attention to the cultural structure of their family and society besides their own wishes, they did not see the school, talk to the school advisory and get information about it before they preferred and the religious expectations were high in their preferences. It is suggested that the students should talk to school advisories before they prefer the schools, see the schools and get information about it and the necessary precautions should be taken by the school management and teachers to fulfill the religious and educational expectations of the students.
