Özet
Bu çalışmada Romantik dönemin önemli bestecisi Robert Schumann'ın yaşamı, kariyeri ve Re Minör Keman Konçertosu yapısal açıdan incelenmiş, çalışma önerileri sunulmuştur. Beş bölümden oluşan bu tezin birinci bölümünde Romantik dönem müziği ve özelliklerinden bahsedilmiştir. İkinci bölümde bestecinin hayatı ve kariyeri araştırılmış, bestelemiş olduğu eserler listelenmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde konçerto formunun tarihsel gelişim süreci ve form özelliklerinden bahsedilmiş, Schumann'ın Re Minör Keman Konçertosu hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. Dördüncü bölümde Schumann'ın Re Minör Keman Konçertosunun bölümlerinin yapısal analizi yapılmıştır. Son bölüm olan beşinci bölümde ise konçertonun icrasına yönelik çalışma önerileri sunulmuş ve Schumann'ın keman konçertosunda, büyük keman virtüözü Paganini'ye duyduğu hayranlıktan ötürü Paganini'den ilham aldığı pasajlar örneklerle anlatılmıştır. Bu çalışmada daha önce yazılmış tezler, Türkçe ve yabancı kaynaklarla birlikte internette yayımlanmış makalelerden faydalanılmıştır.

In this study, the most prominent composer of Romantic period Robert Schumann's life, career and the violin concerto in D minor is examined in terms of structure and practice suggestions are presented. In the first part of this dissertation which consists of five parts, Romantic music and its features are mentioned. In the second part, the life and career of the composer are researched and the works he composed are mentioned. In the third part, the historical development process and form characteristics of the concerto form are referred and information is given about Schumann's violin concerto in D minor. In the fourth part, the concerto's structural analysis is given. In the fifth part which is the final part, study suggestions for the performance of the concerto and the passages which Schumann inspired from Paganini due to his admiration for the great violin virtuoso Paganini are presented. In this study, previously written dissertations, Turkish and foreign sources and articles published on the Internet were utilized.
