Özet
20. yüzyılın önemli düşünürlerinden olan Bertrand Russell'ın Tanrı ve din anlayışı tezin asıl konusu olmakla birlikte bu tezin amacı, Agnostisizm kavramının Russell'ın düşünme sistemindeki önemine değinmek ve Agnostisizm kavramını detaylarıyla göstermektir. Bu çalışmada Tanrı'nın varlığının ve yokluğunun eşit bir şekilde bilinemez olduğunu savunan Agnostisizm kavramı ile Tanrı'nın var olmadığı inancına dayanan Ateizm kavramı incelenecektir. Russell, Tanrı'nın var olup olmadığı konusunda ortaya konulan kanıtları incelemekle birlikte bu kanıtları eleştirir. Bu sebeple öncelikle Russell'ın Tanrı kanıtlamaları ve eleştirileri analiz edilecektir. Bu noktadan hareketle Russell'ın Tanrı ve din anlayışında Agnostisizm ve Ateizm kavramının etkisi ve konumu belirlenecektir.

One of the most important thinkers of the 20th century, Bertrand Russell's understanding of God and religion is the main subject of this thesis. The aim of this thesis is to emphasize the importance of Agnosticism in Russell's thinking system and to show the concept of Agnosticism in detail. In this study, the concept of Agnosticism and Ateizm, which argues that both existence and absence of God is equally unknown, will be based. Russell examines and criticizes the evidence for the existence of God. For this reason, Russell's proofs and critiques of God will be analyzed and examined in detail. The effect and position of Agnosticism and Ateizm in Russell's understanding of God and religion will be analyzed.
