Özet
Plan çiziminin poetikası bağlamında üretilen tez çalışması, mimari temsilin olanaklarını çizim, dil, anlam, metinsellik gibi disiplinlerarası bir alandan araştırarak; mevcut temsil söyleminin kritiğini genişletilmiş alanda poetik üretimlerle ilişkilendirir. Temsil tartışmasının içinde planın tekrar sorgulanıyor olması, poetik olanın çağrışımlara açık doğasıyla birlikte hayal gücünü tetikleyerek kendisine üretken bir alan açar. Bu üretken alandan kurama dahil olarak, araştırmanın da konusu olan poetika kavramına referans olacak şekilde plan çizimleri bir tür açıklık ve performans olarak araştırılır. Plan çizimine dair bu poetik araştırma kurgusu, eleştirel mimarlık pratiği üretme fırsatı sunar. Eleştirinin sadece metinle üretilme fikrine karşı konumlanan eleştirel mimarlık pratiği, disiplinlerarasılık vurgusu taşır. Çalışmanın eleştirel mimarlık biçiminde bir eleştirel pratik olarak kurulması, plan çiziminin mimarlık bilgisinin içinde / dışında / arasında üretilerek çoğalmasıyla gerçekleşir. Bu üretim zemini, poetik performans olarak plan çiziminin ve çizme eyleminin araştırılmasıyla gelişir. Bu kapsamda tez çalışmasını“mimarlık yoluyla araştırma”olarak kurgularken, plan çiziminin poetikası bir araştırma metodolojisi olarak tanımlanır. Eleştirinin gerçekleşebilmesi için gerekli olan disiplilerarasılık vurgusu genişletilmiş alanda poetika tartışmasıyla açılmaya çalışılır. Edebiyat kuramının geliştirdiği bir kavram olan poetika, günümüzde sanat, yazın, mimarlık kuramları ve dil felsefesi tarafından da ilerletilmiş ve geliştirilmiştir. Çalışma kapsamında ele alınan poetika fikriyle“açıklık”,“mekan”,“yer”,“performans”,“metin”ve“çizim”gibi kavramlar etrafında disiplinlerarası bir bağlamda yeni üretim biçimlerine doğru alanını genişletebilme ve eleştiri üretebilme potansiyeli üzerine düşünülür. Bu anlamda açıklık poetikası ve bunun açtığı olanaklar alanı, performansın poetikası ve mimarlıkta çizim pratiği üzerine tartışılır. Tez kapsamında poetik performans olarak ele aldığım plan çizimi, temsilin olanaklılığını tasarım, çizim, metin, görsel sanat, edebiyat, müzik gibi farklı üretim alanlarından araştırır. Araştırmanın kavramsal çerçevesi, plan çiziminin kendi maddeselliği, plan çizimini okuyanlar ve planı çizenler aracılığıyla kurulur. Bu kavramsal çerçevenin hem bir tetikleyicisi, hem de tezin metodolojisini oluşturan poetik performans olarak ele aldığım çizme eylemi ise, planın mekansal deneyimini yazarak / çizerek performe ettiğim kişisel bir araştırma alanıdır. Böylece planın poetik üretimlerle ve performatiflikle ilişkisi tez kapsamında açımlanır. Buradan hareketle tez kapsamında ele alınan plan çiziminin, açıklık poetikası ve performansın poetikasıyla ilişkilenerek farklı türlerde üretim biçimlerine yönelik olanaklılığı açtığını ve böylece disiplinlerarası bir alandan plan çizimi pratiğine eleştirel bir katkı sunduğunu söylemek mümkündür.

The thesis study produced in the context of the plan drawing, by researching the possibilities of architectural representation from an interdisciplinary field such as drawing, language, meaning, and textuality; relates the criterion of the current representation discourse with poetic productions in the expanded field. In the discussion of representation, the questioning of the plan again opens up a productive space for itself by triggering the imagination with the nature of the poetic being open to connotation. From this productive area to theory, plan drawings are explored as a kind of clarity and performance, with reference to the concept of poetics, which is also the subject of research. The assemble of this poetic research on plan drawing provides the opportunity to produce critical architectural practice. Critical architectural practice, which is positioned against the idea of producing criticism only with text, carries the interdisciplinary emphasis. The emergence of the work as a critical practice in the context of critical architecture occurs when the drawing of the plan is reproduced by producing inside / outside / in-between architectural knowledge. The basis of this production develops by researching the plan drawing and drawing action as poetic performance. In this context, while the thesis work is designed as“research through architecture”, it is suggested that the poetics of the plan drawing (design process) can be defined as a research methodology. The interdisciplinary emphasis required for the realization of the criticism is tried to be opened with the discussion of poetics in the expanded area. Poetics, a concept developed by literary theory, has been advanced and developed today by art, literature, architectural theories and philosophy of language. With the idea of poetics, the concept of“openness”,“space”,“place”,“performance”,“text”and“drawing”is considered on the potential to expand its field towards new forms of production and generate criticism in an interdisciplinary context. In this sense, the openness poetics and the field of possibilities it creates are discussed on the poetics of performance and the drawing practice in architecture. Plan drawing, which is considered as poetic performance within the scope of the thesis, explores the possibilities of representation from different production areas such as design, drawing, text, visual art, literature, music. The conceptual framework of the research is established through the materiality of the plan drawing, those who read and draw the plan. The act of drawing, which is considered as both a trigger of this conceptual framework and the poetic performance that forms the methodology of the thesis, is a personal research area where I perform by writing / drawing the spatial experience of the plan. Thus, the relation of the plan with poetic productions and performativity is explained within the scope of the thesis. From this point of view, it can be argued that the drawing of the plan discussed within the scope of the thesis opens the possibility for different types of production by associating with the openness and the poetics of performance, thus making a critical contribution to the practice of drawing plans from an interdisciplinary field.
