Özet

Bu araştırmada; öğretim yöntemlerinden ödüllü ve ödülsüz grup çalışmasının Fen öğretiminde öğrenci başarısına etkisi araştırılmışta“. Araştırmada; basan ve grup yöntemi arasında ilişkisi olduğu düşünülen temel faktörler belMenrniştir. Bunlar: 1. Grup yönteminin Fen programında belirlenen davranışları kazandırma düzeyi, 2. Ödülün başarıya etkisi, 3. öğrencilerin Fen ile ilgili tulumunun ve ilgisinin başarrya etkisi, 4. Ailenin sosyo-ekonomik ve eğitim düzeyinin Fen başarısına etkisi, 5. Öğrencinin evde uyguladığı çalışma modeli ve aldığı yardımların öğrencilerin fendeki başarısına etkileri incelenmiştir. Araştırmanın evrenini, İstanbul ili Ümraniye ilçesi Şehit Öğretmen Sevda Aydoğan İlköğretim Okulunun 4. Sınıfında okuyan 140 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada deney grubunun birine sadece grup çalışması metodu uygulanırken, diğerine bu metod uygun ödüller verilerek yaptırılmıştır. Kontrol grubunda ise geleneksel öğretim yöntemine göre ders işlenmiştir. Araştırmaya başlamadan önce ”Gökyüzü ve Dünyamız" ünitesinin davramşlan baz alınarak hazırlanan test sorularıyla ön test uygulaması yapılmıştır. Bu uygulama (aynı sorularla) ünitenin bitiminde de yapılarak yöntemin başarısı somut olarak görülmeye çalışılmıştır. Aynca ünite sonunda öğrencinin aile çevresini, çalışma stilini, ilgilerini değerlendiren 21 soruluk anket uygulaması yapılarak araştırmanın niceliği arttırılmıştır. Bu araştırmada elde edilen bulgulara dayanılarak ortaya çıkarılan sonuçlar şunlardır: 1. Cinsiyet faktörü Fen bilgisi başarısını etkilememektedir.Ill 2. Fen bilgisi öğretiminde sınıftaki yaş farklılıkları başarıyı etkilememektedir. 3. Annenin eğitimi öğrencilerin fen bilgisi başarısını etkilememektedir. 4. Annenin mesleği fen bilgisi başarısını olumlu yönde etkilemektedir. 5. Fen bilgisi derslerinde kendisini başarılı bulan öğrenciler daha fazla basan göstermektedir. 6. Konuların kavram haritasını yapma fen bilgisi başarısını olumlu yönde etkilemektedir. 7. Zevk alınarak çalışılan alanlarda yoğunlaşma fen başarısını olumlu yönde etkilemektedir. 8. Öğrencilerin ders çalışmasına yardım edebilecek birüerinin olması fen bilgisi başarısını etkilememektedir. 9. Grup çalışması yönteminin uygulandığı deney grubu, geleneksel metoda göre öğretimin yapıldığı kontrol grubundan daha başarılıdır. 10. Grup çalışmasında başardı olanların ödüllendirildiği deney grubu; geleneksel metodla öğretim yapılan kontrol grubuna göre daha başarılıdır. ÖNERİ İlköğretim Okullarının 1. Kademesinin 4. ve 5. sınıflarında Ozon Tabakasının delinmesi ile ilgili güncel bir sorun ortaya atılarak ödüllü proje yarışmaları düzenlenmelidir.

This study, the effect of group vvorking with reward ör without reward from teaching methods. On student achıvement in scıence teachıng was researchedJn the study the main foctors that is thought there's the contact between activement and group method was designated. These are; The level of the cause the students to gain behavior that's Detanmnated in science programme of group method. 2- The impact of reward on achıvement 3- The impact of attitudes and interests concem with science of students on achıvement 4- The Effect of the educational and sosyo - economical level of the famüy on the science achıvement 5- The impact of the studying methods inat students apply at their houses and the helps that is taken at homes,on the success of science were investigated. The environment of this study is 140 students mat study at 4. Class of Şehit Öğretmen Sevda Aydoğan Elementry school of Ümraniye district of İstanbul. The group working is applied to öne of the test groups and the suitable rewards were gjven to another test group. m control group the lessons were studied accourding to traditdoral teaching methods. Before we started for the research, pre-test application had been done with the questions of test inat was prepared accourting to behaviors of“Sky and our world”unit in mis application (Witiı the some cpıestions) the achıvement of the method that vvill be done at the end of the unit was tried to see as in concrete. Ih addition the cpıantity of the research was increased with the quastionnaire that was applied at the end of the unit and it contains 21 questions about the family, environments of students and their interests and the siyle of studying method. These are the results below which appeared in this research: 1.Sexuality factor doesn't effect the achtvement of the science lesson, 2.m science lesson age differences don't effect the achıvement 3.The education of the student's mother doesn't effect the success of the studentV 4.The profession of student's mother effects the achivement of science lesson on the positive way. 5.The students who feel successful themseives show more perfbnnance. 6.To do the concept map effects the achivement of science lesson on the positive way. 7.To became intense on the area that is enjoyed effects the achivement of science lesson on the positive vvay. 8.To exist the person who can help the student to study effects the achivement of the science lesson. 9.The test group which was applied the group working is more successful than the control group which we taught the lessons accourding to the traditional methods. 10.Ih group working; test group which the successful person was rewarded is more successful man the control group which we taught the lesson accourding to the traditional methods. Suggestion in the clases of forths ör fiföıs the rewarded project contest must be orginezed.
