Özet
Toplumsal kurum kimliği ile eğitim, sosyoloji ile ilişki içerisindedir. Sosyolojinin alt disiplini olan eğitim sosyolojisi ise toplum eğitim etkileşimini inceleyerek bulgular ortaya koymaktadır. Eğitim sosyolojisinin bulguları toplumsal sorunları ve eğitim sorunlarını anlama ve açıklamada kaynaklık etmektedir. Türkiye'de eğitim sosyolojisi literatürünün değerlendirilmesini içeren bu çalışmada da eğitim sosyolojisinin sosyoloji içerisindeki mevcut konumuna vurgu yapılmış, eğitim sosyolojisi alanındaki çalışmaların niceliksel ve niteliksel analizinin yapılması amaçlanmıştır. Bu kapsamda eğitim ve sosyoloji kavramlarının temel görünümleri, eğitim sosyolojisinin tarihsel ve kuramsal gelişimi ve sosyoloji kimliği içerisindeki eğitim sosyolojisi ile eğitim bilimleri içerisindeki sosyolojinin literatürdeki ayrımı değerlendirilmiştir.

Education with its social institution identity is in a relation with sociology. The sociology of education, which is the sub-discipline of sociology, presents the findings by examining the educational interaction of society. The findings of the educational sociology are the source of understanding and explairing of social and educational problems. In this study, which includes the literatüre of the educational sociology in Turkey, the current pasıtion of the educational sociology in the field of sociology has been emphasized and making a qualitative and quantitative analysis of the studies in sociology has been aimed. In this context, the basic aspects of education and sociology concepts, the historical and theoretical development of the sociology of education, the sociology of education within the sociology identity, and the distinction of the sociology in the educational sciences in the literature have been evaluated.
