Özet
Bu tezin temel amacı imalat sanayinde teknolojik inovasyon, teknoloji ticarileşme ve firma performansı arasındaki ilişkileri incelemektir. Bu amaçla tezde kavramsal bir model önerilmiş ve teknolojik inovasyon, teknoloji ticarileşme ve firma performansı arasındaki ilişkiler yapısal eşitlik modellemesi ile araştırılmıştır. Çalışmada veri toplama aracı olarak anket kullanılmıştır. T.C. Teknoloji ve Sanayi Bakanlığı Ar-Ge teşvikleri Genel Müdürlüğü tarafından yayınlanan ar-ge merkezi istatistikleri 2018 listesinde bulunan 1082 firmadan örnekleme yoluyla, toplam 351 firmadan veriler toplanmıştır. Anket verileri IBM SPSS Statistics 21 ve AMOS 22 paket programları ile derlenmiş ve yapısal eşitlik modellemesi ile araştırmanın amacına yönelik kurulan hipotezler test edilmiştir. Araştırma ve uygulamanın sonucunda teknolojik inovasyon ile teknoloji ticarileşme arasındaki ilişki ve teknoloji ticarileşme ile firma performansı arasındaki ilişkinin anlamlı olduğu tespit edilirken, teknolojik inovasyon ile firma performansı arasında anlamlı bir ilişki tespit edilememiştir. Bununla birlikte, teknolojik inovasyon ile firma performansı arasındaki ilişkide teknoloji ticarileşmenin aracılık etkisi anlamlı bulunmuş ve etki gücü ise orta düzeyde olduğu tespit edilmiştir.

The main purpose of this thesis is to examine the relationships among technological innovation, technology commercialization and firm performance in the manufacturing industry. For this purpose, in this thesis, a conceptual model is proposed and relationships between technological innovation, technology commercialization and firm performance were investigated by structural equation modeling. The survey was used as a data collection tool in the study. Data were collected by sampling from 351 companies out of 1082 companies in the 2018 list of research and development statistics published by Turkish Republic Ministry of Technology and Industry, research and development incentives. The survey data was compiled with IBM SPSS Statistics 21 and AMOS 22 softwares and the hypothesized for the purpose of the research were tested by structural equation modeling. As a result of research and application, the relationship between technological innovation and technology commercialization, and the relationship between technology commercialization and firm performance were found to be significant. However, there was no significant relationship between technological innovation and firm performance. In addition, in the relationship between technological innovation and firm performance, the mediation effect of technology commercialization was found significant and it was determined that the effect power is at a medium level.
