Özet
Bu çalışmada,“Cebirsel İfadeler ve Özdeşlikler”konusunun yapılandırmacı yaklaşıma dayalı 7E öğrenme modeline göre öğretiminin öğrencilerin akademik başarılarına ve öğrenmenin kalıcılığına etkisi araştırılmış ve ayrıca öğrenci görüşlerine de yer verilmiştir. Çalışma 2018-2019 eğitim öğretim yılı güz yarıyılında Kastamonu ilinde Milli Eğitim Bakanlığına bağlı bir devlet okulunun 8. sınıfında öğrenim görmekte olan 50 öğrenci ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Rastgele örneklem seçimi yöntemiyle 25 er öğrenciden oluşturulan deney ve kontrol gruplarındaki dersler araştırmacı tarafından yürütülmüştür. Çalışmada, 7E öğrenme modeline uygun olarak hazırlanan ders planı ile öğretim yapılırken, kontrol grubuna mevcut öğretim programına bağlı kalınarak öğretim yapılmıştır. Çalışma sonunda deney ve kontrol gruplarına“Cebirsel İfadeler ve Özdeşlikler Başarı Testi”uygulanmış olup, deney grubu öğrencileri ile ''Yarı Yapılandırılmış Görüşme'' gerçekleştirilmiştir. Çalışmadan elde edilen nicel verilerin analizinde bağımsız örneklemler Mann Whitney U-testi kullanılarak elde edilen bulgular 0,05 anlamlılık düzeyinde yorumlanmış ve nitel verilerin analizinde ise içerik analizinden faydalanılmıştır. Yapılan istatistiksel çalışmaların sonuçlarına göre“Cebirsel İfadeler ve Özdeşlikler”konusunun öğretiminde 7E öğrenme modeline göre öğretiminin öğrencilerin akademik başarılarına anlamlı bir katkı sağladığı, öğrenmenin kalıcılığı üzerine olumlu yönde etki ettiği gözlemlenmiştir. Ayrıca 7E öğrenme modeline göre işlenen derslerin öğrencilerin motivasyonunu artırdığı, derslerde daha aktif oldukları, dersleri eğlenceli ve ilgi çekici buldukları sonuçlarına ulaşılmıştır. In this study, the effect on the academic achievement of students and the permanence of learning of teaching according to 7E learning model based on the constructivist approach of“Algebraic Expressions and Identities”was investigated, and the students' opinions were also included. The study was carried out with 50 students in 8th grade of a public school under the Ministry of National Education in Kastamonu province in the fall semester of 2018-2019 academic year. The lessons in the experimental and control groups formed from 25 students by random sample selection method, were conducted by the researcher.In the study, while teaching was the lesson plan prepared in accordance with 7E learning model, the control group was taught according to the current curriculum. At the end of the study, ''Algebraic Expressions and Identities Achievement Test'' was applied to the experimental and control groups and ''Semi-Structured interview'' was conducted with the experimental group students. In the analysis of the quantitative data obtained from the study, the findings obtained by using independent samples Mann Whitney U-test were interpreted at 0.05 significance level and content analysis was used in the analysis of qualitative data. According to the results of statistical studies, it was observed that the teaching of“Algebraic Expressions and Identities”according to the 7E learning model made a significant contribution to the academic achievement of the students, the permanence of the learning had a positive effect. In addition, the results of the 7E learning model was increased the motivation of the students, they were more active in the lessons, the lessons were found to be fun and interesting results.
