Özet
Bilim, teknoloji ve endüstri alanındaki gelişmeler, sanatı etkilemiş ve sanatçıların farklı arayışlara yönelmesine neden olmuştur. Üçüncü bir boyut arayışında sanatsal üretim biçimi olarak geliştirilen asamblaj tekniğinde, malzeme konusunda geniş bir yelpazeden yararlanılmıştır. Nesnelerin heykelde sanat nesnesi olarak bir araya getirilmesiyle oluşturulan bu çalışmalar, Duchamp'ın sıradan nesneleri ve Picasso'nun bu nesneleri eserlerinde kullanmasıyla başlamış, ardından gelen sanatçıların asamblaj tekniğinde gerçekleştirdikleri çalışmalarına örnek teşkil etmiştir. Tercih edilen malzeme, bir nesne üzerinde ya da bir mekân içerisinde birleştirildiğinde, bir bütünün öğeleri haline dönüşürler. Bu birleştirmede tercih edilen uygulamalardan olan asamblaj, Modern Çağa damga vuran bir tekniktir. Teknikte kullanılan malzemeler, endüstriyel, teknolojik, buluntu, günlük kullanım nesneleri olarak yerini alırken, sıradan nesneler olarak da tanımlanırlar. Nesne ve kullanılan malzemeler ile esere yapılan müdahaleler, içeriğin güçlendirilmesi adınadır. Bu çalışmanın amacı, asamblaj tekniği ve tekniğin Modern Çağda gerçekleşen heykel uygulamalarını incelemeye yöneliktir. Söz konusu amaç doğrultusunda Modernizm olarak tanımlanan dönemin toplum ve sanat üzerinde oluşturduğu değişimler incelenmiş özellikle Kübizm akımından, Video Sanata kadar gerçekleşen sanat akımlarında, heykel çalışmalarında kullanılan asamblaj tekniği araştırılmış ve başlıca sanatçılarının eserleri incelenmiştir.

The developments in science, technology and industry have affected the art and caused the artists to seek different searches. A wide range of materials and objects were used in the assemblage technique developed as a form of artistic production in search of a third dimension. These studies on bringing objects together as art objects in sculpture, It started with Duchamp's ordinary objects and Picasso's use of these objects in his works, It has set an example for the works performed by the following artists in the assemblage technique. When the preferred material is combined on an object or in a space, they become elements of a whole. Assemblage, which is one of the preferred applications in this combination, is a technique that marks the Modern Age. While the materials used in the technique take their place as industrial, technological, find, daily use objects, they are also defined as ordinary objects. The interventions made with the object and the materials used are in the name of strengthening the content. The purpose of this study is to examine the sculpting technique and the sculpting practices of the technique in the Modern Age. In line with the aim in question, the changes that the period defined as Modernism on society and art were examined, especially from the Cubism movement, Video In art movements that took place until the art, the assemblage technique used in the sculptures was researched and the works of the major artists were examined.
