Özet
Bu araştırmanın amacı öncelikle Milli Eğitim Bakanlığına bağlı tüm ortaokullarda 2015-2016 Eğitim Öğretim yılından bu yana sekizinci sınıflarda okutulmakta olan Rehberlik ve Kariyer Planlama Dersine ilişkin sınıf rehber öğretmenlerinin bakış açılarını ve öz yeterlik algılarını çeşitli değişkenler açısından incelenmesi, sonrasında konsültasyon temelli yürütülen RKP Dersinin öğrenci kariyer farkındalığına etkisinin incelenmesidir. Araştırmada sınıf rehber öğretmenlerinden veri toplamada genel tarama modeli tercih edilmiş sonrasında konsültasyon temelli yürütülen RKP Dersinin öğrencilerin kariyer farkındalığına etkisini inceleyebilmek için nicel yöntemlerden ön test-son test kontrol gruplu deneysel desen kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın evrenini 2018-2019 Eğitim Öğretim yılında Kocaeli ili İzmit ve Kandıra ilçesinde görev yapan sekizinci sınıf rehber öğretmenleri ve sekizinci sınıf öğrencileri oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın ilk bölümünde 106 sekizinci sınıf rehber öğretmeninden Genel Öz Yeterlik Ölçeği ve araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen“Sınıf Rehber Öğretmen Bilgi Formu”aracılığıyla veri toplanmıştır. Çalışmanın ikinci bölümünde 73 öğrenciden oluşan deney ve 80 öğrenciden oluşan kontrol grubu öğrencilerine“Çocuklar İçin Kariyer Gelişim Ölçeği”,“Kariyer ve Yetenek Gelişim Ölçeği”,“Mesleki Karar Verme Yetkinlik Ölçeği”ve“Sınav Kaygısı Ölçeği”uygulanarak ön test verileri toplandıktan sonra kendisi okul psikolojik danışmanı olan araştırmacı tarafından deney grubu öğrencilerinin sınıf rehber öğretmenlerine yönelik haftalık konsültasyon toplantıları düzenlenmiştir. Bu toplantılarda sınıf rehber öğretmenlerine o hafta işleyecekleri RKP Dersi kazanımına yönelik bilgilendirme çalışmaları yapılmıştır. Süreç sonunda deney ve kontrol grubu öğrencilerine araştırmanın başında uygulanan ölçekler tekrar uygulanmış ve bunlar son test puanları olarak değerlendirilmiştir. Elde edilen verilerin analizinde Bağımsız Örneklemler T Testi, Tek Yönlü Varyans Analizi (ANOVA), Mann Whitney U Testi, Wilcoxon İşaretli Sıralar Testi, Kruskal-Wallis Testi ve Pearson Korelasyon Katsayısı kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın sonucunda sınıf rehber öğretmenlerinin RKP Dersine ilişkin yeterlik algılarının üniversitede rehberlik dersi alanların almayanlara göre, okul rehber öğretmeni ile işbirliği yapanların yapmayanlara göre ve daha önce bu dersi vermiş olanların vermeyenlere göre anlamlı derecede yüksek olduğu bulunmuştur. Öğretmenlerin cinsiyetinin, kıdem düzeylerinin ve branşlarının anlamlı bir etkisi bulunmamıştır. Araştırmanın deneysel kısmında kontrol ve deney gruplarına uygulanan ölçeklerin ön test puanları arasında anlamlı bir fark bulunmamış, son test karşılaştırmasında ise deney grubu lehine anlamlı bir fark gözlenmiştir. Bu fark konsültasyon temelli yürütülen RKP Dersinin öğrenci kariyer farkındalığını anlamlı biçimde olumlu etkilediğini göstermektedir. Öte taraftan her iki grubun da son test puanlarının ön test puanlarından istatistiksel olarak anlamlı derecede fazla olması RKP Dersinin başlı başına öğrencilerin mesleki gelişimine katkı sağlayan bir yapısı olduğunu işaret etmektedir. Öğrencilerin son test puanları ile cinsiyetleri, gelir düzeyleri, anne ve baba eğitim durumları arasında anlamlı bir ilişki bulunmamıştır. Öğrencilerin akademik başarı puanlarının sadece Sınav Kaygısı Ölçeği ile düşük düzeyde, pozitif ve anlamlı bir ilişkisi bulunmuş uygulanan diğer ölçeklerle anlamlı bir ilişkisi bulunmamıştır. Araştırma sonucunda ulaşılan bulgular ilgili literatüre göre tartışılmış ve bazı önerilerde bulunulmuştur. Yapılan araştırmanın RKP Dersine ve rehberlik hizmetlerindeki konsültasyon çalışmalarına ilişkin farkındalık oluşmasına katkı sağlayacağı düşünülmektedir.

The aim of this research is to examine the perspectives and self-efficacy perceptions of the guidance counselors about the Guidance and Career Planning Course, which has been taught in all secondary schools under the Ministry of National Education since the eighth year of 2015-2016, in terms of various variables, then Guidance and Career Planning carried out based on consultation. It is the study of the effect of the course on student awareness. In the study, a general screening model was preferred for collecting data from classroom guide teachers, and then an experimental pattern with pre-test-post-test control group, which is a quantitative method, was used to examine the effect of Guidance and Career Planning Course, which was carried out based on consultation. The universe of the research is the eighth grade counselor teachers and eighth grade students working in Izmit and Kandira district of Kocaeli province in 2018-2019 academic year. In the first part of the study, data was collected from 106 eighth grade counselor teachers through the General Self-Efficacy Scale and the“Classroom Guide Teacher Information Form”developed by the researcher. In the second part of the study, after the pre-test data was collected by applying“Career Development Scale for Children”,“Career and Talent Development Scale”,“Professional Decision Making Competency Scale”and“Exam Anxiety Scale”to the experiment group consisting of 73 students and control group consisting of 80 students. Weekly consultation meetings were held for the class counselor teachers of the experimental group students by the researcher who is a school psychological counselor. During these meetings, informative activities were carried out for the guidance counselors and career planning courses that they will take that week. At the end of the process, the scales applied to the experimental and control group students at the beginning of the research were reapplied and evaluated as post-test scores. Independent Samples T Test, One Way Variance Analysis (ANOVA), Mann Whitney U Test, Wilcoxon Signed Row Test, Kruskal-Wallis Test and Pearson Correlation Coefficient were used in the analysis of the data obtained.As a result of the research, it has been found that the perceptions of the teachers about the guidance and career planning course of the classroom guide teachers are significantly higher than those who did not take the counseling course in the university, those who did not cooperate with the school counselor teacher and those who did not give this lesson before. The gender, seniority and branches of the teachers did not have a significant effect. In the experimental part of the study, no significant difference was found between the pretest scores of the scales applied to the control and experimental groups, and a significant difference was observed in the posttest comparison in favor of the experimental group. This difference shows that the Guidance and Career Planning Course, which is carried out on a consultation basis, significantly affects student awareness. On the other hand, the fact that the posttest scores of both groups were statistically significantly higher than the pre-test scores indicate that the Guidance and Career Planning Course is a structure that contributes to the professional development of the students. There was no significant relationship between the students' post-test scores and their gender, income levels, and education status of their parents. Students' academic achievement scores were found to have a low, positive and meaningful relationship only with the Exam Anxiety Scale, and no significant relationship with the other scales applied. The findings reached as a result of the research were discussed according to the relevant literature and some suggestions were made. It is thought that the research will contribute to the awareness about the Guidance and Career Planning Course and the consultation studies in the guidance services.
