Özet

Bu çalışma İstanbul ili Dr. Lütfi Kırdar Eğitim ve Araştırma hastanesine başvuran ortopedik travmalı hastaların ameliyat öncesi anksiyete, depresyon ve akut stres belirti şiddeti düzeyinin incelenmesi amacıyla yapılmıştır. Çalışmanın evreninin hastaneye ortopedik travma nedeniyle başvurup yatışı verilen hastalar oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada örneklem seçim yöntemi kullanılmamıştır. Araştırmaya katılmayı kabul eden tüm hastalar araştırma kapsamına alınmıştır. Araştırmaya 46 kadın ve 74 erkek olmak üzere 120 hasta katılmıştır. Araştırma da veriler kişisel bilgi formu, hastane anksiyete ve depresyon ölçeği ve akut stres belirti şiddeti düzeyi ölçeği ile toplanmıştır. Verilerin analizinde tanımlayıcı istatistiklerden sayı, yüzde, ortalama, standart sapma; parametrik testlerden t Testi ve tek yönlü anova Testi kullanılmış olup ayrıca farklılaşmanın kaynağının belirlenmesi amacıyla Post-Hoc Analiz ve LSD testi karşılaştırmalar için kullanılmıştır. Araştırmaya katılan hastalar 18-65 yaş arasındadır. Ortopedik travmalı hastaların akut stres belirti şiddeti düzeyi ölçeğinden aldıkları puan ortalaması 13,49'dur. Hastane anksieyete ve depresyon ölçeğinden aldıkları puan ise 17,65'dir. Hastaların sosyo-demografk özellikleri akut stres belirti şiddeti ölçeği ile karşılaştırılmıştır ve cinsiyet, gelir durumu ve hastaneye geliş nedeni durumuna göre anlamlı farklılık saptanmıştır. Aynı şekilde sosyo-demografik özellikleri ve hastane anksiyete depresyon ölçeği karşılaştırıldığında ise meslek, gelir durumu, kronik hastalık ve geliş nedeni arasında anlamlı farklılık bulunmuştur. Araştırmada elde edilen tüm bulgular ilgili literatür ışığında tartışılmıştır. Bu nedenle bu hastaların bakımlarının fiziksel ve ruhsal açıdan bir bütün olarak ele alınması önem arz etmektedir.

This study was made to examine the level of anxiety, depression and acute stress symptom severity of orthopedic trauma patients who admitted to the Lütfi Kırdar Training and Research Hospital of İstanbul province . Patients who were admitted to the hospital due to orthopedic trauma and hospitalized were included in the study population. Sample selection method was not used in the study. All patients who agreed to participate in the study were included in the study. 120 patients, 46 women and 74 men, participated in the study. In the study, the data were collected with personal information form, hospital anxiety and depression scale, and acute stress symptom severity scale. Number, percentage, average, standard deviation from descriptive statistics in data analysis; Among the parametric tests, t Test and one-way anova Test were used, and Post-Hoc Analysis and LSD test were used for comparisons to determine the source of differentiation. Patients participating in the study are between 18-65 years old. The average score of orthopedic trauma patients on the scale of acute stress symptom severity is 13.49. The score they got from the hospital anxiety and depression scale is 17.65. The socio-demographic characteristics of the patients were compared with the acute stress symptom severity scale and there was a significant difference in terms of gender, income status and reason for admission to the hospital. Similarly, when the socio-demographic characteristics and the hospital anxiety depression scale were compared, a significant difference was found between profession, income status, chronic disease and the reason for arrival. All findings obtained in the study were discussed according to the related literature. Therefore, it is important to treat the care of these patients as a whole, both physically and mentally.
