Özet
Kant, modern felsefenin kurucusu olarak kabul edilen Descartes'ın cogito tanımlamasını eksik bulur ve bu tanımlamadan yola çıkarak onu konumlandırdığı yer itibariyle eleştiriye tabi tutar. O, cogitoyu yıkmayacak onu düzenleme yoluna gidecektir. Bu tezin amacı Kant'ın cogito eleştirisini hangi bağlamlarda gerçekleştirdiğini ve eleştirisinin ölçütlerini ortaya koymaktır. İzlenilen yöntemdeyse ilkin Descartes'ın cogito tanımlaması incelenmiş daha sonra mümkün deneyin apriori koşulları irdelenip Kant'ın benlik anlayışı açıklanmıştır. Bütün bunlar yapılırken sadece belli yerlerde pratik alana değinilmek şartıyla konu teorik anlamda sınırlandırılması şeklinde oluşturulmuştur.

Kant finds Descartes definition of cogito incomplete, who is accepted as the founder of modern philosophy, and based on this definition, he criticizes him for the place he positions it. He will not annihilate the cogito, he will arrange it. The purpose of this thesis is to reveal the contexts in which Kant make real his critique of cogito and the criteria of his criticism. In the method followed, firstly Descartes' definition of cogito was researched, then the apriori conditions of the possible experiment were scrutinized and Kant's self-understanding was explained. While doing all of this, the subject is limited in theoretical terms, provided that the practical field is mentioned only in certain places.
