Özet

20. yüzyılda mantıkta gerçekleştirilen atılımlar, felsefenin alt alanları kapsamında değerlendirilen kavramların mantık açısından da ele alınmasına olanak tanımış ve“özel”denilebilecek mantık alanlarının ortaya çıkmasına neden olmuştur. Bu mantık alanlarından birisi de epistemolojinin ve mantığın kesiştiği yerde duran epistemik mantıktır. Epistemik mantık ile birlikte epistemolojik kavramların formel olarak incelenmesi, bu özel mantık alanını disiplinler arası bir düzleme taşımıştır. Bu tez çalışmasının amacı epistemolojinin inceleme alanına giren bilgi ve sanı kavramlarını, filozofların oluşturduğu epistemolojik arkaplanıyla birlikte mantık açısından da ele almak ve konunun gerek diğer özel mantık alanlarıyla olan ilişkisine gerekse disiplinler arası kullanımına dikkat çekmektir.

The breakthroughs in logic in the 20th century, enabled the concepts considered within the sub-fields of philosophy to be addressed in terms of logic and led to the emergence of logic fields that could be called“specific”. One of these fields of logic is epistemic logic, which stands at the intersection of epistemology and logic. The formal study of epistemological concepts associated with epistemic logic has brought this specific field of logic to an interdisciplinary level. The aim of this thesis study is to examine the concepts of knowledge and belief that fall into the scope of the study of epistemology in terms of logic with the epistemological background formed by philosophers and to draw attention to the relationship of the subject with other specific fields of logic as well as its interdisciplinary use.
