Özet
Öz yeterlilik algısı, kişinin kendisinde var olan bilişsel ve duyuşsal potansiyeline olan güveni olup, bireyin olumlu veya olumsuz düşünmesini, amaçlarını, zorluklar karşısında göstereceği çabanın ölçüsünü ve çabalarının sonuçlarını büyük ölçüde etkiler. Öğretmen öz yeterliliği ise başarılı öğretim veya öğretmen etkililiği ile ilişkilidir. Öğretmenlerin kendilerinde mesleki öz yeterlilik algısı geliştirmeleri etkili ve başarılı bir öğrenme ortamı için gereklidir. Bu araştırmanın amacı, Sosyal Bilgiler öğretmen adaylarının öğretmenlik mesleğine yönelik öz yeterlilik algılarının bazı değişkenler (cinsiyet, sınıf, not ortalaması, lise türü, anne-baba eğitim durumu vb.) açısından incelenmesidir. Araştırmanın evrenini Sosyal Bilgiler öğretmen adayları oluşturmaktadır. Örneklemini ise 2019-2020 öğretim yılı, güz döneminde Balıkesir Üniversitesi Necatibey Eğitim Fakültesi Sosyal Bilgiler Öğretmenliği Ana Bilim Dalı, birinci, ikinci, üçüncü ve dördüncü sınıflarında öğretim gören toplam 208 öğretmen adayı oluşturmaktadır. Araştırma tarama modelinde olup, veri toplama aracı olarak araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen anket kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde, SPSS 21.0 programı ile bağımsız gruplar t testi, tek yönlü varyans analizi (anova) ve LSD post hoc testi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda genel olarak öğretmen adaylarının her bir alt boyuttaki ve toplamdaki öz yeterlilik algılarının“oldukça yeterli”olduğu belirlenmiştir. Bağımsız değişkenler ile öğretmen adaylarının öz yeterlilik algı düzeyleri arasında sınıf ve öğretmenlik mesleğini seçmesinde en etkili durum değişkenleri açısından anlamlı farklılık tespit edilmiştir. Cinsiyet, not ortalaması, öğretmenlik mesleğini seçmesinde etkili kişi, mezun olduğu lise türü, ailenin aylık geliri, büyüdüğü yer ve anne-baba öğrenim düzeyi değişkenleri açısından anlamlı bir farklılık bulunamamıştır. Araştırmanın sonucunda öğretmen adaylarının mesleki öz yeterlilik algılarının geliştirilmesine yönelik önerilerde bulunulmuştur.

Self-efficacy perception is the confidence in the cognitive and affective potential of the individual, and it greatly affects the individual's positive or negative thinking, goals, the scale of effort he / she will make in the face of difficulties and the results of his / her efforts. Teacher self-efficacy is related to successful teaching or teacher effectiveness. It is necessary for teachers to develop a sense of professional self-efficacy for an effective and successful learning environment. The aim of this study is to examine Social Studies teacher candidates' self-efficacy perceptions towards the teaching profession in terms of some variables (gender, grade, grade point average, type of high school, educational status of parents, etc.). Social Studies teacher candidates constitute the universe of the study. The sample is comprised of a total of 208 teacher candidates studying in the first, second, third and fourth grades of Balıkesir University Necatibey Faculty of Education, Social Studies Teaching Department in the fall semester of the 2019-2020 academic year. The research is in the scanning model and the questionnaire developed by the researcher was used as the data collection tool. In the analysis of the data, independent groups t test with the SPSS 21.0 program, one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) and LSD post hoc test were used. As a result of the research, it was determined that the self-efficacy perceptions of the teacher candidates in each sub-dimension and total are“quite sufficient”. A significant difference was found between the independent variables and the self-efficacy perception levels of the teacher candidates in terms of the most effective variables in choosing the classroom and teaching profession. There was no significant difference in terms of gender, grade point average, the person who was effective in choosing the teaching profession, the type of high school he/she graduated from, the monthly income of the family, the place where he / she grew up, and the education level of the parents. As a result of the research, suggestions were made for the development of professional self-efficacy perceptions of teacher candidates.
