Özet
Batı Marksizminin önemli temsilcilerinden Lefebvre, sadece Marksizm'i takip etmemiş, kendisine özgü, Lefebvreci düşünce olarak adlandırılabilecek bir yaklaşım oluşturmuştur. Bu tez Lefebvreci düşünceyi bir bütün halinde ele alarak, düşünürün şehir hakkı kavramını konu edinmektedir. Buradan hareketle çalışmanın amacı şehir hakkı kavramının Lefebvreci bir okumasını gerçekleştirmektir. Türkçe literatürde, söz konusu kavramı bu bağlamda ele alan bir çalışma bulunmamaktadır. Bu nedenle tezin önemli bir teorik boşluğu doldurduğu düşünülmektedir. Metateorik bir çalışma olan bu tez kapsamında Lefebvreci düşüncenin içsel ilişkileri ve bunların şehir hakkına yansımaları diyalektik yöntemle incelenmiştir. Lefebvre'in başta Şehir Hakkı ve Kentsel devrim olmak üzere, mekân üzerine olan eserleri tezin odak noktasını oluşturmaktadır. Gündelik hayat, Marksizm, devlet ve felsefe konularındaki makale ve kitaplarına ise şehir hakkı kavramına sirayet ettikleri oranda yer verilmiştir.

Henri Lefebvre, one of the prominent representatives of Western Marxism, did not only follow Marxism, but formed an approach that could be called Lefebvrian thought. This thesis focuses on the concept of the thinker's right to the city by taking the Lefebvrian thought as a whole. From this point of view, the aim of the study is to make a Lefebvian reading of the concept of the right to the city. There is no study in the Turkish literature addressing the aforementioned concept in this context. Therefore, the thesis fills an important theoretical gap. Within the scope of this thesis, which is a metatheoretical study, the internal relations of Lefebvrian thought and their reflections on the right to the city were examined by dialectical method. Lefebvre's works on space, especially the Right to the City and the Urban Revolution, constitute the focal point of the thesis. His articles and books on everyday life, Marxism, the state and philosophy have been included as much as they spread to the concept of the right to the city.
