Özet
Bu çalışma, Aristoteles'in doğa felsefesinin bir bölümünü temsil eden fizik felsefesi bağlamında ele aldığı kavramların metafizik, fizik ve kısmen epistemolojik açıdan sorgulanmasını içerir. Kavramlar sorunsallaştırılırken, hangi filozofların onların neliğini nasıl ele aldığı ve Aristoteles'in bu kavramlara nasıl bir mahiyet tayin ettiği ortaya konularak, onun metodolojik yöntemi takip edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Bu yöntem, ona zengin bir düşünce mirası ile kendi felsefi sistemini harmanlayıp kavramlara yepyeni boyutlar kazandırarak, yaklaşık iki bin yıl boyunca hem Batı hem de Doğu dünyasında en etkili filozoflardan biri olma ünvanını kazandırmıştır. Çalışma iki bölümden oluşmaktadır. İlk bölümde metafiziğin, ikinci bölümde fiziğin kavramları ele alınmıştır. Çalışmaya metafizik alana ait kavramlarla başlama nedenimiz onun hem metafiziğe yüklediği anlam hem de hakikatin bilgisine ulaşmada esas aldığı (dedüktif) yöntemle ilişkilidir. Ulaşılan sonuçlar açısından Aristoteles'in fizik felsefesinde ortaya koyduğu kavramların, modern fiziğin bugünkü ulaştığı noktada ele aldığı problem alanlarının temel kavramlarına kaynaklık ettiği söylenebilir.

This study includes the metaphysical, physical and partly epistemological questioning of the concepts that Aristotle handles in the context of philosophy of physics which represents a part of his philosophy of nature. While problematizing the concepts, it has been tried to follow Aristotle's methodological technique by demonstrating how and which philosophers dealt with what these concepts are and what kind of a nature he assigned to them. This method has given him the title of being one of the most influential philosophers in both Western and Eastern worlds for nearly two thousand years by blending his own philosophical system with a rich heritage of thought and bringing new dimensions to concepts. The present study is comprised of two parts. In the first part, the concepts of metaphysics are discussed, and in the second part the concepts of physics are handled. The reason why we start our study with concepts belonging to metaphysics is related to both the meaning it attributes to metaphysics and the (deductive) method it relies on in reaching the knowledge of truth. In terms of the results achieved, it can be said that the concepts introduced by Aristotle in the philosophy of physics are the source of the basic concepts of the problem areas that modern physics has addressed at the point it has reached today.
