Özet
Temelde insan ihtiyaçlarından dolayı ortaya çıkan sektörler, zaman içerisinde kendini geliştirerek insan ihtiyaçlarından daha fazlasına cevap vermeye başlamıştır. Bu sektörlerden inşaat ve sanayi sektörünün ülkeler için ne kadar önemli olduğu ve bir ülkenin kalkınmasında, büyümesinde ne kadar etkili olduğu birçok araştırmaya konu olmuştur. İnşaat sektörü, insanların en temel ihtiyaçlarından olan barınma ihtiyacının karşılanmasında önemli yer tutarken aynı zamanda sanayi sektörünün, gelişmesine de katkı sağlamaktadır. Sanayileşme ile ekonomik kalkınma eşdeğer anlamlar taşımaktadır. Nüfus yoğunluğunun fazla olduğu kent merkezlerinde fabrikaların kurulması ile inşaat sektörünün; altyapı, ulaşım, köprü gibi alanlarına gereksinim duyulmaktadır. Her iki sektör ciddi düzeyde emek talebi oluşturan sektörlerdir. Bu bağlamda makroekonomik istikrarın sağlanmasında önemli etkileri bulunmaktadır. Bu çalışmanın amacı Türkiye'de inşaat ve sanayi sektörünün ekonomik büyüme ile arasındaki ilişkiyi ampirik olarak araştırmaktır. Zaman serisi olarak; 1999:01-2020:04 dönemine ait çeyreklik veriler, esas alınmıştır. Zivot-Andrews birim kök testi ile seriler durağanlaştırılmış. Gregory-Hansen eş bütünleşme testi ile bağımlı ve bağımsız değişkenler arasında uzun dönemli bir ilişki bulunmuştur. Son olarak yapılan Hacker ve Hatemi-J Nedensellik testi ile ekonomik büyümeden inşaat sektörüne, sanayi sektöründen, ekonomik büyümeye doğru tek yönlü bir nedensellik bulunmuştur.

The sector, which emerged mainly due to human needs, improved itself over time and started to respond to more than human needs. Among these sectors, how important the construction and industry sectors are for countries and how effective it is in the development and growth of a country has been the subject of many studies.While the construction sector has an important place in the shelter needs, one of the most basic needs of people, it also contributes to the development of the industrial sector. Industrialization and economic development have equivalent meanings. With the establishment of factories in urban centers where the population density is high, areas of the construction sectors are needed such as infrastructure, transportation and bridges.Both sectors are sectors that create a significate level of labor demand. At the same time, it has important effects in ensuring macroeconomic stability. The aim of this study is to empirically investigate the relationship between the construction and industrial sector and the growth of economy in Turkey. As the time series, the period 1999:01-2020:04 were taken on a quarterly basis. The series were stabilized with the Zivot- Andrews unit root test. A long-term relationship was found between dependent and independent variables with the Gregory- Hansen cointegration test. Finally, with the Hacker and Hatemi-J causality test, a unidirectional causality was found from economic growth to the construction sector, from the industrial sector to economic growth.
