YÖNETİM SÜREÇLERİNDE BİLGİSAYARA DAYALI KARAR DESTEK SİSTEMLERİNİN İRDELENMESİ (Yüksek Lisans Tezi) Neziha ÇARKIT GAZİ ÜNİVERSİTESİ FEN BİLİMLERİ ENSTİTÜSÜ EYLÜL 1997 ÖZET Yönetim işlevleri yönüyle planlama, görevlendirme, yönlendirme, değerlendirme aşamalarım içine alan bir yetki ve sorumluluklar bütünüdür. Diğer yandan yönetim; yoğun bilgi kullanımı gerektiren dinamik bir organizasyondur. Bilgi teknolojilerinin geliştirilmesindeki asıl amaçlardan birisi de,, kuruluşlarda hizmet veya ürünün elde edilmesinde bilginin hızlı ve yoğun kullanımının sağlanmasıdır. Bilginin güvenli, hızlı ve yoğun kullanıldığı organizasyonlarda yönetim süreçleri de hızlı ve doğru çalışıyor demektir. Yönetimi tanımlayan etkinliklerin bütünü, yöneticilerin doğru karar almalarını sağlamak içindir. Planlama, yönlendirme ve değerlendirmelerin sonuçları da yeni kararların alınmasını sağlar. v Bu tezde yönetim süreçleri incelenerek bilgisayar uygulamalı yönetim sistemleri irdelenmektedir. Tezin devamında bilgisayar uygulamaları içinde yer alan karar destek bileşenlerinden, veri ambarları, yapay zeka, uzman sistemler incelenerek, karar destek sistemlerinin oluşumu irdelenmiştir. Thesis) Neziha ÇARKIT GAZİ UNIVERSITY INSTITUTE OF SCIENCE SEPTEMBER 1997 ABSTRACT Management is a whole of authorities and responsibilities cowering the stages of planing, appointment, orientation and assessment with respect to its functions. On the other hand, management is a dynamic organisation which requires intense use of information. One of the main objectives in the development of information technology is to provide for the rapid and intense used of information for obtaining services or products at the institutions. At the institutions where information is used rapidly, intensely and safely. The management process also function rapidly and accurately. The whole of the activities which define management are for enabling managers to make accurate decisions. The result of planning, orientation and evaluation also lead to making of new decisions. In this thesis the management processes are examined and the computer applied management systems are discussed. On the course of the thesis, the data warehouse, artificial intelligence and expert systems of the decision support components in computer applications are examined and the formation of the decision support systems is discussed.
