ÖZET sabit gönderme maliyetli, iki seviyeli bir envanter sisteminin analizi GULLU, Refik Yüksek Lisans Tezi, End. Müh. Bö'IUmU Tez Yöneticisi: Doç. Dr. Nesim ERK1P Temmuz 1989, 120 Sayfa Bu çalışmada bir ana depolu ve birçok alt depolu iki seviyeli, iki dönemli bir sistemde depolama ve tahsis problemleri incelenmektedir. Amaç, ikinci dönem beklenen maliyet fonksiyonunu enazlayan atama sonrası stok düzeylerinin değerlerini bulmaktır. Maliyet fonksiyonunda envanter taşıma ve eksik kalma maliyetlerinin yanı sıra ana depodan alt depolara mal gönderme sabit maliyeti de gözönüne alınmıştır. iki alt depolu bir sistemde eniyi ikinci dönem tahsisleri alt depoların envanter düzeyleri cinsinden karakterize edilmiştir. iki alt depolu durum için tahsis sonrası stok düzeylerini bulacak sezgisel bir yöntem önerilmiştir. Sistemde N eş alt depo bulunduğu zaman, tahsis yapılacak eniyi alt depo sayısını veren bir algoritma önerilmiştir. Sabit taşıma maliyetlerinin göreceli olarak yüksek olduğu durumlarda gönderme kararının göndermeme kararma göre daha fazla beklenenmaliyet getirdiği sınırlayıcı envanter düzeylerinin varlığı gösterilmiştir. Değişik parametre değerlerinde yöntemlerin performanslarını sınayan bir benzetim çalışması yapılmıştır. iki dönem toplam amaç fonksiyonu için sayısal değerler bulunmuş ve tartışılmıştır.

ABSTRACT ANALYSIS OF A TWO-ECHELON INVENTORY SYSTEM WITH FIXED SHIPMENT COSTS GULLU, Refik M.S. in Industrial Engineering Supervisor: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nesim ERK1P July 1989, 120 Pages In this study, stocking and allocation problems faced in a two-echelon, two-period system characterized by a warehouse and multiple retailers are investigated. The objective is to find the optimal post-allocation stock levels of the locations at the beginning of the second period, that minimize the second period expected cost function. In the cost function, additional to the inventory carrying and stockout costs, fixed cost of shipment from the warehouse to retailers are considered. In a two-retailer environment optimum second period allocations are characterized in terms of their inventory positions. As the computation of the optimal solution requires a considerable effort an easily computable approximate procedure is proposed to find the post allocation stock levels for the two-retailer case. When N-identical retailers are present in the system, an 111algorithm is proposed to determine the optimum number of retailers that the allocation will be realized. It has been shown that, the fixed shipment cost creates limiting values of inventory positions over which shipment decision versus no shipment decision yields higher expected costs. A simulation study is carried out to test the performance of the procedures at different parameter settings. Empirical results are obtained and discussed on the overafi, two-period objective function.
