Özet
Araştırmada zaman- mekân algısı, edebiyatta ve sanatta sosyal olaylar yazar- sanatçı kurgusu açısından incelenmiştir. Edebiyatta; yazarların Fransız İhtilali, Sanayi Devrimi, ülkemizde Cumhuriyetin İlanı bağlamında toplumlardaki devrimsel ve sosyal olayları yazarların eserlerine nasıl aktardıkları, eserlerde zaman ile mekânı nasıl işledikleri çözümlenmiştir. Bu araştırmada birinci aşamada Fransız Devrimi sonucu toplumda oluşan değişimlerin edebiyat ve sanata yansımaları, edebiyat ve sanat eserlerinde zaman ve mekân etkileri açısından incelenmiştir. İkinci aşamada 18. yüzyılın ikinci yarısında İngiltere'de başlayan Sanayi Devrimi'nin sanat ve edebiyata yansımaları eserlerde zaman ve mekân etkileri açısından çözümlenmiştir. Üçüncü aşamada ülkemizde Cumhuriyetin İlanı sonrası toplumdaki değişimlerin sanat ve edebiyata yansımaları, eserlerdeki zaman ve mekân etkileri araştırılarak sanat ve edebiyattaki ilişkisel algıları irdelenmiştir. Sosyal olayların sanata yansıması, eserlere etkisi, geçirdiği zaman ve mekân değişimleri renk, biçim, kompozisyon açısından yazılı eserler ve görsel eserlerle ilişkilendirilerek yorumlanmıştır. Bu çalışmada nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden betimsel tarama modeli araştırmanın yöntemi olarak belirlenmiştir. Araştırmanın uygulama aşamasında odak grup görüşmesi yapılmıştır. Odak grup görüşmesi 5, 6 ve 7. sınıf öğrencilerinden oluşmaktadır. Üç ayrı gruplar halinde 24 öğrenciden oluşmuş çalışma grubunda öğrencilere okunan romanlar ve izletilen slaytlar sonrası 6 soru ile uygulama sonlanmıştır. Bu sorulara verilen cevaplar incelendiğinde sanatta ve edebiyatta toplumsal ve sosyal olayların sanatçı ve yazar üzerinde etkisinin olduğunu, yaşadığı zamandan izlerin eserlere yansıdığını kavramaları sağlanmıştır. Çalışma grubunda bu eserlerin geçtiği zaman- mekân çözümlemeleri üzerine yorum yapabilmeleri amaçlanmıştır. Bu gruplardaki tüm öğrencilere Fransız Devrimi sonrası eserler veren Victor Hugo' nun Sefiller romanı, Jacques Louis David' in resimleri, Sanayi Devrimi sonrası eserler veren Charles Dickens'ın Oliver Twist ve İki Şehrin Hikâyesi romanı, Joseph Wright'ın resimleri gösterilerek yazıldığı ve yapıldığı dönemleri yorumlamaları ve resimleri analiz etmeleri sağlanmıştır. Ayrıca çalışma grubunda bu eserlerin geçtiği zaman ve mekânı sorgulamaları amaçlanmıştır. 5, 6 ve 7. Sınıf öğrencilerine zaman ve mekânın irdelendiği Fransız İhtilali ve Sanayi Devrimi sonrası yazılan edebi eserler anlatılıp, resimler gösterilerek, o dönemleri anlatan slaytlar hazırlanıp videolar gösterilerek onların bu yöndeki çalışmaları incelenmiştir. Çalışmada okunan eserlerle izlenen dönem videoları arasında bağlantı kurmak çalışmanın odak noktasıdır. Edebi eserler ve gösterilen resimlerdeki mekân olgusu ve tasarımlarının çözümlenerek yaratıcılığın gelişmesi ve öğrencinin yeni tasarımlarında algılama, analiz etme ve biçimlendirme becerisinin arttırılması, aynı zamanda yaşadığı dünyayı toplumsal olaylarla birlikte algılaması amaçlanmıştır.

This paper examines the time-space relationship and fictions created by authors and artists in the light of social occurrences. The way authors conveyed revolutionary and social happenings in the context of The French Revolution, Industrial Revolution and the Proclamation of the Republic in Turkey as well as the time-space relationship in their works are the subjects of this study. The first section takes a closer look into the time-space relationship of the social changes the French Revolution brought about in literature and art. In the second section the effects of the Industrial Revolution on literature and art are analysed with respect to the time-space relationship. The third section deals with the way the reforms after the Proclamation of the Republic in Turkey altered the literature and art along with the perception of the mutual relationship between time and space in the society. These social occurrences are studied in reference to their impacts on time and space in art and literature. In this context; colours, forms and compositions are correlated with visual and literary works. This research is a qualitative one with the method of descriptive survey model. In the empirical part a focus group session was held. This session involved students attending 5th, 6th and 7th grades. Divided into groups of eight, 24 students participated in the study group. Then they were read out the novels chosen for them and shown certain slides. At the end the students were asked six questions. Their answers clearly show they're aware of the fact that events which take place in a given society at a certain time affect the works of artists and authors accordingly. On the other hand, the members of the study groups were expected to develop their own ideas on the analyses regarding the time-space relationship. Les Miserables, which was written, inter alia, by Victor Hugo after French Revolution; Oliver Twist and A Tale of Two Cities, written by Charles Dickens among his other books after the Industrial Revolution and the paintings by Jacques Louis David and Joseph Wright were the selected works for all the students to analyse and interpret with regard to the times they were composed and the impressions they give respectively. Furthermore, it was another objective of this session that the study group questions the time-space element. 5th, 6th and 7th graders were given an insight into the literary works and demonstrated paintings that were created after the French Revolution and the Industrial Revolution. Additionally, the slides and the videos that were prepared in advance were the other elements to be utilized before the students were asked to give their own input. The session was run for them to be able to make connections between the literary works and the videos. It was also aimed to develop their creativity as they analyse the time-space factor and its depiction in the literary works and paintings as well as to enhance their ability to perceive, examine and form their understanding and enable them to observe the world with the events surrounding it.
