Özet

Bu çalışmada Adana İli Seyhan İlçesinde üreticilerimizin tohum satın alma güdüleri ve etkilerini incelemek amacıyla 200 üretici ile yüz yüze anket çalışması yapılmıştır. Elde edilen sonuçlara göre; üreticilerin %98,50'sini erkekler oluşturmaktadır ve %93'ü evlidir. Üreticilerin %46'sı ilkokul diplomasına sahiptir. Üreticilerin %98'inin kendisine ait traktörü vardır. %75'in Bağ-Kur'dan yararlandığı, %3'nün güvencesinin olmadığı, %19'unun SSK'lı olduğu ve %3'ününde emekli sandığına kayıtlı olduğu belirlenmiştir. Çalışmaya katılan üreticilerin esas geçim kaynağı tarımdır. Tarım dışı gelire sahip olanların oranı %15'tir. Tarım dışı geliri olduğunu belirten 30 çiftçinin tarım dışı gelirinin toplam gelirinin %47,63 olduğunu belirtmişlerdir. Üreticiler için tohum tercihlerini etkileyen faktörler sorulduğunda, fiyatının, uygun fiyatlı firmanın olması, ödeme koşullarının uygunluğu, tohumun verimli olması, diğer markalar ile karşılaştırılmasının yapılması, seçiminin etkili olduğu belirlenmiştir. İthal tohum ya da yerli tohum tercihleri olarakta, ithal tohumun daha kaliteli olduğu ve sertifikalı olması gerektiği belirlenmiştir. Satın alınan tohumun içerik bilgilerinin açıklayıcı bir şekilde verilmesi ve ambalajında yazmasının önemli olduğu belirtilirken, firmanın satılan tohum ile ilgili de gerekli problemlerin çözümünde, tohumun ulaşılabilir olmasında, satış öncesi ve üretim aşamasındaki destek, sorunlar ve yaklaşımların çiftçilerimiz için önemli olduğu belirtilmiştir. Tohumun miktarı, temini, temiz olması ve istenilen zamanda bulunması adına da diğer çiftçilere hem tohum hemde firma önerisi olarak etkili olacağı belirtilmiştir. Tohum seçerken kendi görüşlerini önemsedikleri görülmektedir. Daha sonra komşu ve arkkadaş tavsiyelerini değerlendirdikleri belirtilmiştir. Üreticilerin şimdiye kadar kullandıkları tohumlarda %70'şinin sorun yaşamadığı ve %81'i en son aldıkları tohumu tekrar kullanacaklarını belirtmişlerdir. Yeni bir tohum çeşidi çıktığında ise önce küçük bir alanda deneme yaparak karar vereceklerini belirtmişlerdir. Kullanılan tohumlardaki sorunların çimlenme gücünün zayıf olması, fiyat yüksekliği, hastalık ve zarara karşı dayanıklı olmaması ve kuraklığa, soğukluğa karşı dayanamaması çok önemli olduklarını belirtmişlerdir.

This study, face-to-face surveys were conducted with 200 producers in order to examine the motives and effects of our producers to buy seeds in Seyhan District of Adana Province. According to the results obtained; 98.50% of the producers are men and 93% are married. 46% of the producers have an elementary school diploma. 98% of the manufacturers have their own tractor. It was determined that 75% benefited from Bag-Kur, 3% had no security, 19% were SSK and 3% were registered in the pension fund. Agriculture is the main livelihood of the producers participating in the study. The proportion of those with non-agricultural income is 15%. They stated that the total income of 30 farmers who stated that they had non-agricultural income was 47.63%. When asked about the factors affecting seed preferences for producers, it was determined that the price, being an affordable company, the suitability of the payment conditions, the efficientness of the seed, comparing it with other brands, the choice was effective. As imported seed or domestic seed preferences, it has been determined that imported seed is of better quality and should be certified. While it is stated that it is important to provide the contents information of the purchased seed in an explanatory way and write it in its packaging, it is stated that the support, problems and approaches before and during the production phase are important for our farmers in solving the necessary problems related to the seed sold. It is stated that the seed will be effective as both seed and company recommendation to other farmers in order to be quantity, supply, clean and to be found at the desired time. When choosing seeds, it is seen that they care about their own opinions. It was then stated that they evaluated the recommendations of the neighbor and the companion. So far, 70% of the seeds used by the producers have no problems and 81% have indicated that they will reappease the seeds they received last time. When a new seed variety comes out, they stated that they will first decide by experimenting in a small area. They stated that the problems in the seeds used are very important because the germination power is weak, the price is high, it is not resistant to disease and damage, and it cannot withstand drought and coldness.
