The Mid-Norwegian margin is buried by a set of clinoforms. The study area is inside the Møre Basin which is passive-rift margin. The studied interval is Neogene to Quaternary succession for the project. The upper part of the clinoforms is truncated by an Upper Regional Unconformity (Pleistocene) which is glacial erosional unconformity. The focused interval comprises of ten sub-sequences based on the architecture of the reflectors, reflection configuration and stratal terminations. The objective of this project is to perform sequence stratigraphic analysis of Neogene to Quaternary succession. Sequence stratigraphy is based on identifying unconformity-bounded sedimentary packages in seismic data. The studied interval comprises three sequences. With respect to change in sediment influx, tectonic processes and relative sea-level change system tract evolution of the study area is performed. Consequently, potential reservoir distribution and deposits are analyzed by using the system tract interpretation and with the support of RMS amplitude attribute. Potential reservoir deposits LST and TST low density turbidites and HST channel fills are determined. The main depositional environments for LST and TST low density turbidites are slope and submarine fan. Best hydrocarbon play and reservoir prone deposit for this study area is LST low density turbidites at slope and submarine fan as a reservoir which is directly contacted with transgressive and high stand source and seal facies both below and above as petroleum play.
