94 SUMMARY In this study, technological developments of vehicle technology in Türkiye and in the World, and the status of traffic accidents have been investigated, the importance of finding datums of accidents place correctly and in details which will show the way to analyse the basic factors which effect accidents and especially vehicle factor from judicial points of views. and the developments registered in essential vehicle systems including brake systems, steering systems in vehicles have been studied with their advantages and disadvantages. Furthermore the percentage of intervention to accident according to the kind of vehicles as a result of accident occured with death, injury and material loss have been investigated, fallowed by a general evaluation of practice concerning with design and manufacture required the structure of vehicles has been made, according to point of active and passive securities, it has been intended by studying recent security applications to clarify present technological situation and to make evaluation depending on studies about what can be done in direction of existing datums in the near future.
