Özet
Yoğun Bakım Ünitesi'nde sağlık çalışanları tarafından gelişigüzel cep telefonu kullanımı gözlemlenmektedir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, sağlık çalışanlarının cep telefonlarında bakteri bulaşması olup olmadığını araştırmak ve bu profesyonellerin cep telefonlarında herhangi bir dezenfeksiyon işlemi yapıp yapmadıklarını tespit etmektir. Duhok'taki farklı hastane ve sağlık merkezlerinin personelinden cep telefonlarının yüzeyinden rastgele örneklemler için yüz seksen altı sürüntü toplandı. çalışanların cihazlarında herhangi bir temizlik yapıp yapmadıklarını belirlemek için modifiye edilmiş bir anket uygulandı. Duhok kentindeki farklı hastane ve sağlık merkezlerinde sağlık çalışanları tarafından incelenen cep telefonlarının yüzeyinin (%56,99) patojenik bakteri ve fırsatçı patojen bakteri ile kontamine olduğu tespit edildi. Sağlık çalışanlarının cep telefonu yüzeyinden izole edilen ve en yaygın patojenik bakteriler: Staphylococcus epidermidis (%40,16) en bol olanıdır, bunu Staphylococcus lentus (%33,07), Staphylococcus haemolyticus (%3,15) ve Pantoea spp. (%3.15). The indiscriminate use of cell phones by health professionals within the Intensive Care Unit is observed. The objectives of this study are to investigate whether there is bacterial contamination on cell phones of the health professionals and to identify whether these professionals perform any type of disinfection on their cell phones. One hundred eighty-six swabs were collected randomly for samples from the surface of cell phones from staff of different hospitals and health centers in the Duhok. To identify whether professionals performed any type of cleaning on their device, a semi-structured questionnaire was applied. It was found that (56.99%) of the surface of mobile phones analyzed by health workers at different hospitals and health centers in Duhok city, were found to be contaminated with pathogenic bacteria and opportunistic pathogenic bacteria. The pathogenic bacteria isolated on the cell phone surface of health workers which were most prevalent: Staphylococcus epidermidis (40.16%) was the most abundant, followed by Staphylococcus lentus (33.07%), Staphylococcus haemolyticus (3.15%) and Pantoea spp. (3.15%). It is understood that there is an urgent need for awareness, through continuing education, of this hospital community.
