Özet
Bu araştırmanın amacı, yükseköğrenimine devam eden biyoloji öğretmen adaylarının eğitim-öğretim memnuniyetleri ile akademik yöndeki motivasyon düzeylerini belirlemek ve bu iki değişken arasındaki ilişkinin durumunu tespit etmektir. Araştırmada nicel araştırma yöntemlerinden biri olan tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu Ankara'da iki farklı devlet üniversitesinde öğrenimlerine devam eden toplam 121 biyoloji öğretmen adayı oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmadaki verileri toplamak amacıyla biyoloji öğretmen adaylarına“Yükseköğretimde Eğitim-Öğretimle İlgili Öğrenci Memnuniyeti Ölçeği”ve“Akademik Güdülenme Ölçeği”uygulanmıştır. Araştırmadan elde edilen sonuçlar çerçevesinde; biyoloji öğretmen adaylarının eğitim-öğretim memnuniyetleri ile akademik motivasyonları arasında pozitif yönde ve orta düzeyde bir ilişki (r=438) olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Araştırmadan elde edilen ana sonuçlardan biri de, biyoloji öğretmen adaylarının yükseköğretimde eğitim-öğretim ile ilgili memnuniyetlerinin ve akademik motivasyonlarının orta düzeyin üzerinde bulunmuş olmasıdır. Bu düzey seviyesini anlamlandırabilmek amacıyla bazı alt boyutlar incelenip sonuçlandırılmıştır. Araştırma verilerinin cinsiyet alt boyutu incelendiğinde erkek biyoloji öğretmen adaylarının eğitim-öğretim memnuniyetleri ile akademik motivasyonları, kadın biyoloji öğretmenler adaylarına göre daha yüksek düzeyde olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Araştırmadaki sınıf düzeyi alt boyutu incelendiğinde 4.sınıfta bulunan öğretmen adaylarının eğitim-öğretim memnuniyeti ile diğer sınıflarda bulunan öğretmen adaylarının eğitim-öğretim memnuniyetleri arasında anlamlı bir farklılık olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır. 4.sınıftaki öğretmen adayları orta düzeyde bir memnuniyet gösterirken diğer sınıftaki adaylar yüksek düzeyde memnuniyet göstermektedir. Adaylardaki en yüksek düzeydeki memnuniyetin ise 1.sınıf öğretmen adaylarında olduğu görülmektedir. Araştırmada ayrıca 2. üniversitedeki öğretmen adaylarının bölüme isteyerek gelme frekansının, 1.üniversitedeki adayların bölüme isteyerek gelme frekansından fazla olduğu tespit edilmiştir.

The aim of this research is to determine the educational satisfaction and academic motivation levels of biology teacher candidates who continue their higher education and to determine the relationship between these two variables. The survey model, which is one of the quantitative research methods, was used in the research. The study group of the research consists of 121 biology teacher candidates who continue their education in two different state universities in Ankara. In order to collect the data in the research, the“Student Satisfaction Scale for Education in Higher Education”and the“Academic Motivation Scale”were applied to the biology teacher candidates. Within the framework of the results obtained from the research; It has been determined that there is a positive and moderate relationship (r=438) between the educational satisfaction of biology teacher candidates and their academic motivation. One of the main results obtained from the research is that the satisfaction and academic motivation of the biology teacher candidates in higher education were found above the medium level. In order to make sense of this level, some sub-dimensions were examined and concluded. When the gender sub-dimension of the research data was examined, it was concluded that the educational satisfaction and academic motivation of male biology teacher candidates were higher than that of female biology teacher candidates. When the class level sub-dimension in the research was examined, it was concluded that there was a significant difference between the education-training satisfaction of the 4th grade teacher candidates and the education-training satisfaction of the teacher candidates in other classes. While the 4th grade teacher candidates show a medium level of satisfaction, the other grade teachers show a high level of satisfaction. It is seen that the highest level of satisfaction among the candidates is in the first year teacher candidates. In the study, it has also been determined that the frequency of pre-service teachers in the 2nd university willingly come to the department is higher than the frequency of the candidates in the 1st university willingly come to the department.
