Özet
Mekân yaşanılan her yer olarak tanımlanabilir. İnsan yaşamını mekânlarda geçirir. Mekân yaratma çabası insanın barınma ihtiyacından doğan bir olgudur. Gelişen dünyayla beraber mekân yaratma olgusu sadece barıma ihtiyacı kavramından sıyrılıp yerini mimari tasarımlara bırakmıştır. Mekân tasarımlarında sanat ürünleri ortaya koyan ve ortaya koyduğu sanat ürünlerini bir arada kullanan mimarinin etkileşim içinde olduğu en önemli sanat dallarından biri de sinemadır. Sinema yüzyıllar içinde gelişim göstermesine rağmen temelindeki mimari gereksinimini hiçbir zaman kaybetmemiştir. Sinema ve mimari, mekânı bir sanat eseri gibi oluşturmakta ve bu sanat eserlerini insan algısına sunmaktadır. Sinema tarafından, insan algısına sunulan bu mekânlar, bazen kurgu mekânlar olup izleyicinin farklı bir dünyaya bakmasını sağlayabildiği gibi yaratılan gerçek odaklı mekânlar sayesinde izleyicinin kendini sorgulamasına yol açabilmektedir. Beyaz perdede sergilenen mekânlar çoğu kez izleyicinin dikkat etmediği unsurlar gibi gözükse de bu mekânların izleyici üzerindeki etkisi yadsınamaz. Bir bilim kurgu filminde, yaratılan mekânlar sayesinde izleyiciye, eserin ütopik olmadığı izlenimi verilebilmektedir, izleyici kendini mekân içerisinde görebilmekte ve kendini bu gerçeküstü dünyanın bir parçası olarak hissedebilmektedir. Bu sayede izleyici, filmin temasını ve anlatmak istediği konuyu içselleştirerek mekânlar ve mekân algısı sayesinde filmin anlatmak istediği konuyu daha rahat anlayabilmektedir. İnsanların mekânları algılamalarında etki olan ögeler mekân algısı kavramı altında incelenmektedir. Çevre psikolojisi mekânların insanlar üzerindeki etkisini araştırmaktadır. Mekânlar insan algısının birer parçası olup, mekân insanı, insan mekânı etkiler. İnsan psikolojisinin mekân algısında birçok etkisi vardır. Bu çalışmada çevre psikolojisi; kavramları ve tanımlarına yer verilmiştir. Bu psikolojik etki mimari mekânın yanı sıra sinema mekânlarında da incelenmiştir. Bu etki araştırılırken sinema film türlerinin birkaçı ele alınmıştır. Sinema mekânlarının insan psikolojisinden yararlandığına çevre psikolojisi kavramları ile ulaşılmıştır. İnsanların etkilendiği kadar mekânlarında insan psikolojisinden etkilendikleri görülmüştür.

Place can be defined as any place where one lives. People spend their lives in places. The effort to create place is a phenomenon arising from the human need for shelter. With the developing world, the concept of creating place has separated from the concept of only the need for shelter and left its place to architectural designs. Cinema is one of the most important branches of art that interacts with architecture, which produces works of art in place designs and uses them together. Although the cinema has developed over the years, it has never lost its architectural necessity. Cinema and architecture create the place like a work of art and present these works of art to human perception. These places, which are presented to human perception by the cinema, are sometimes fictional places and can enable the audience to look at a different world, or they can cause the audience to question themselves thanks to the reality-oriented places created. Although the places displayed on the big screen often seem like elements that the audience does not pay attention to, the impact of these places on the audience is undeniable. In a science fiction movie, thanks to the places created, the viewer can be given the impression that the work is not utopian, the viewer can see himself/herself in the place and feel herself as a part of this surreal world. In this way, the audience internalizes the theme of the film and the subject it wants to tell, and thanks to the places and the perception of place, they can more easily understand the subject that the film wants to tell. The elements that are effective in people's perception of places are examined under the concept of place perception. Environmental psychology studies the effects of places on people. Places are a part of human perception, and place affects people and people affect place. Human psychology has many effects on the perception of place. In this study, environmental psychology has studied according to concepts and definitions. This psychological effect has been examined in cinema places as well as architectural places. While investigating this effect, a few of the movies were discussed. Thanks to the concepts of environmental psychology, it has been reached that cinema venues benefit from human psychology. It has been observed that places are affected by human psychology as much as people are affected by places.
