Özet
Profesyonel turist rehberliği iş kolunda iş sağlığı ve güvenliği (İSG) eğitim, uygulama ve denetim sistematiğinin yeterince gelişememesi nedeniyle sorunlar yaşanmaktadır. Bugüne kadar araştırmalarımız sonucunda bildiğimiz kadarıyla turist rehberlerinin mesleksel iş sağlığı ve güvenliği sorunları konusunda hiçbir çalışma yapılmamıştır., Turist rehberliği mesleğinin yürütülmesi esnasında oluşabilecek riskler ve bunlardan kaynaklanabilecek tehlikeler saptanmamıştır. Çalışmamızın amacı rehberlerin bu konudaki farkındalıkları ile birlikte risk ve tehlikelerin belirlenmesidir. Çalışmamız gözlemsel, tanımlayıcı ve kesitsel tipte bir epidemiyolojik araştırmadır. Araştırmanın evreni İstanbul Rehberler Odası'na kayıtlı eylemli rehberlerdir. Örneklem olasılıksız ardışık yöntemiyle seçilmiştir. Veriler İstanbul'da 375 kişi ile gönüllülük esasına dayanan yüz yüze anket çalışması yapılarak toplanmıştır. Kadın ve erkeklerde 40-49 yaş grubu en yoğun yaş dilimidir, erkek sayısı kadın sayısından 1 kat fazladır. Sigortalı rehberlerin yaklaşık 2/3'ü 4/a sigortalıdır ve sigortasız olanların oranını %15,5'tir. Yapılan turlarda günde ortalama çalışma süresi her iki cinsiyette de 10 saate yakındır. Turlarda ayakta geçirilen zaman ise ortalama 6,5 saattir. Yarıdan fazlası en az bir kere sağlık açısından elverişsiz, kötü şartlarda konaklamışlardır. Rehberlerin %80'i strese maruz kalırken, tükenmişlik sendromu ile kendilerini ilişkilendiren rehberlerin oranının yaklaşık 2/3 olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Rehberlerin 2/3'ü çalışma hayatında en az bir kere ses kısıklığı yaşamıştır. Yine 2/3'lük rehber grubu bir salgın hastalığı öğrendiğinde hangi önlemi alacağını bilmediğini ifade etmiştir. Yaklaşık %40'lık kesimin ise ülke dışındaki salgınlar konusunda farkındalığının olmadığı görülmüştür. Her 4 rehberden 3'ü İSG eğitimini faydalı bulmaktadır. Ancak yine her 4 rehberden 3'ünün profesyonel turist rehberliği hakkında gerçekte bir İSG eğitimi almadığı da saptanmıştır. Profesyonel turist rehberlerinin İSG sorunlarını araştıran ilk çalışma olarak elde edilen veriler, gelecekte rehberler için oluşturulacak İSG eğitim müfredatının temelini teşkil edebilecektir. Ayrıca belirlenen mesleksel sağlık sorunları ve riskleri ilerde yapılacak risk analizlerinde ve akademik çalışmalarda kullanılabilecektir.

Problems are experienced in the professional tourist guiding business line due to the insufficient development of occupational health and safety (OHS) education, practice and inspection systematics. As a result of our research, as far as we know, no study has been done on the occupational health and safety problems of tourist guides until today. The aim of our study is to determine the risks and dangers together with the awareness of the guides on this issue. Our study is an observational, descriptive and cross-sectional epidemiological study. The universe of the research is the active guides registered with the Istanbul Chamber of Guides. The sample was selected using the improbable consecutive method. The data were collected by conducting a face-to-face survey on a voluntary basis with 375 people in Istanbul. The 40-49 age group is the most intense age group for women and men, the number of men is 1 times more than the number of women. About 2/3 of the insured guides are 4/a insured and the rate of the uninsured is 15.5%. The average working time per day in the tours is close to 10 hours for both genders. The average time spent standing on tours is 6.5 hours. More than half of guides have stayed at least once in unfavorable conditions in terms of health. While 80% of the guides were exposed to stress, it was determined that the rate of the guides who associated themselves with burnout syndrome was approximately 2/3. Two third of the guides have experienced hoarseness at least once in their working life. Again, 2/3 of the guide group stated that they did not know what precautions to take when they learned about an epidemic. It has been observed that approximately 40% of the guides is not aware of the epidemics outside the country. 3 out of 4 guides find OHS training useful. However, it was also determined that 3 out of 4 guides did not actually receive an OHS training on professional tourist guidance. The data obtained as the first study to investigate the OHS problems of professional tourist guides may form the basis of the OHS training curriculum for guides in the future. In addition, determined occupational health problems and risks will be used in future risk analyzes and academic studies.
