Özet
Bu çalışmanın amacı, Sosyal Bilgiler öğretim programında yer alan becerilerin 2021- 2022 eğitim-öğretim yılında ders kitabı olarak okutulan Sosyal Bilgiler ders kitaplarında yer alan etkinlikler bağlamında incelemektir. Çalışma nitel araştırma yöntemi olan doküman incelemesi kullanılarak yapılmıştır. Bu çalışmanın evreni Talim Terbiye Kurulu Başkanlığı (TTKB) tarafından ders kitabı olarak onaylanan 2021- 2022 eğitim-öğretim yılı içinde ortaokullarda okutulan 5., 6. ve 7. sınıf ders kitapları olarak belirlenmiştir. Bu çalışmanın örneklemini 5. sınıf ATA yayıncılık ve MEB yayınları, 6. sınıf ANADOL yayıncılık ve MEB yayınları, 7. sınıf EKOYAY ve MEB yayınlarının iki adet kitabı olmak üzere toplam yedi adet Sosyal Bilgiler ders kitabı oluşturmaktadır. Veri toplama araçları, amaçlı örnekleme yöntemlerinden ölçüt örneklemeye göre seçilmiştir. Çalışmadaki ölçüt, 2021- 2022 eğitim-öğretim yılında okutulan 5, 6, ve 7. sınıf ders kitaplarındaki etkinliklerin doğrudan belirtilmiş olmasıdır. Araştırma verileri içerik analiziyle çözümlenmiştir. Bu çalışmada 5., 6. ve 7. sınıf düzeylerinde Sosyal Bilgiler dersi öğretim programında kazandırılması amaçlanan becerilerin, literatürde yer alan kavramsal çerçeveden alt boyutlar belirlenerek 5., 6. ve 7. sınıf Sosyal Bilgiler ders kitaplarında yer alan etkinliklerle tutarlılığına bakılmıştır. 5. sınıf düzeyinde iki, 6. sınıf düzeyinde iki ve 7. sınıf düzeyinde üç olmak üzere toplam yedi adet ders kitabındaki 473 etkinlik incelenmiştir. Etkinliklerin öğrenme alanlarındaki doğrudan verilecek becerileri karşılayacak şekilde analizi yapılmıştır.

The aim of this study is to examine the skills in the Social Studies curriculum in the context of the activities included in the Social Studies textbooks taught as textbooks in the 2021-2022 academic year. The study was conducted using document analysis, which is a qualitative research method. The universe of this study was determined as the 5th, 6th and 7th grade textbooks used in secondary schools in the 2021-2022 academic year, which were approved as textbooks by TTKB. The sample of this study consists of a total of seven Social Studies textbooks, 5th grade ATA Publishing and MEB Publications, 6th grade ANADOL Publishing and MEB Publications, 7th grade EKOYAY and two of the MEB Publications. Data collection tools were selected according to criterion sampling, one of the purposive sampling methods. The criterion in the study is that the activities in the 5th, 6th, and 7th grade textbooks taught in the 2021-2022 academic year are directly stated. Research data were analyzed by content analysis. In this study, the sub-dimensions of the skills aimed to be gained in the Social Studies curriculum at the 5th, 6th and 7th grade levels were determined from the conceptual framework in the literature, and its consistency with the activities in the 5th, 6th and 7th grade Social Studies textbooks was examined. A total of 473 activities in seven textbooks, two at the 5th grade, two at the 6th grade and three at the 7th grade, were examined. The activities were analyzed to meet the skills to be given directly in the learning areas.
