Özet
Teknolojinin gelişimi ve yaygınlaşması teknolojik cihazların insan hayatına doğrudan etki eder bir hale gelmesini sağlamıştır. Teknolojik cihazların insan hayatında bu denli bir yere sahip olması etkilerinin incelenmesi gerekliliğini ortaya çıkarmıştır. Bu araştırma öğrencilerin teknolojik cihaz kullanım düzeylerinin, sınıf düzeyi, cinsiyet, kardeş sayısı, evde internet bağlantısı bulunma durumu ve akademik başarı değişkenleri arasındaki ilişkinin belirlenmesine yöneliktir. Araştırmanın modeli nicel bir model olan genel tarama modelidir. Araştırmanın çalışma grubu için Malatya ilinde bulunan ortaokul kademesindeki 3 farklı okulda öğrenim gören 634 ortaokul öğrencisi oluşturmaktadır. Öğrencilerin teknolojik cihaz kullanım düzeylerini belirlemek amacı ile dörtlü Likert Ölçeği türünde 13 maddeden oluşan anket geliştirilmiştir. Öğrencilerden alınan verilere ek olarak okul idaresinden öğrencilerin 1 yıllık not ortalaması temin edilmiştir. Elde edilen bulgulara göre teknolojik cihaz kullanım düzeyi ile sınıf düzeyi ve akademik başarı değişkenleri arasında güçlü bir ilişki vardır. Ayrıca cinsiyet, kardeş sayısı ve evde internet bağlantısı bulunma durumu değişkenlerinin teknolojik cihaz kullanım düzeyi ile olan ilişkileri, sınıf düzeyi ve akademik başarı değişkenlerine oranla daha kısıtlı bir ilişki göstermektedir. Öğrencilerin sınıf düzeyi yükseldikçe, daha yoğun bir teknolojik cihaz kullanımı sergilemekte, teknolojik cihazlar nedeniyle ailesi ile daha fazla sorun yaşamaktadırlar. Bu durum akademik başarı değişkenine göre incelendiğinde akademik başarı düştükçe, teknolojik cihaz kullanımı artmakta ve aile ile teknolojik cihazlardan kaynaklanan sorunların yaşanma sıklığı artmaktadır.

The development and widespread use of technology has enabled technological devices to have a direct impact on human life. The fact that technological devices have such a place in human life has revealed the necessity of examining their effects. This research aims to determine the relationship between students' technological device usage levels, grade level, gender, number of siblings, internet connection at home, and academic achievement variables. The model of the research is the general survey model, which is a quantitative model. The study group of the research consists of 634 secondary school students studying in 3 different secondary schools in Malatya province. A four-point Likert-type questionnaire consisting of 13 items was developed in order to determine the technological device usage levels of the students. In addition to the data obtained from the students, the 1-year grade point average of the students was obtained from the school administration. According to the findings, there is a strong relationship between the level of technological device use and the variables of class level and academic achievement. In addition, the relationships between the variables of gender, number of siblings and having internet connection at home with the level of use of technological devices show a more less relationship than the variables of grade level and academic achievement. As the grade level of the students increases, they exhibit more intense use of technological devices and they have more problems with their families due to technological devices. When this situation is examined according to the academic achievement variable, as the academic achievement decreases, the use of technological devices increases and the frequency of problems arising from family and technological devices increases.
