Özet

Tez beş bölümden oluşmaktadır. Bu beş bölümde ilkokul üçüncü sınıf müfredatının çocuklar için felsefe (p4c) metoduna göre amaç ve kazanımlar üzerinden bir incelenme ve öneri çalışması gerçekleştirilmiştir. Birinci bölümünde çocuklar için felsefe (P4C) metodunun tanımı, tarihçesi, amaçları, P4C yönteminin uygulama boyutu, öğretmenin rolü ve yöntemin kurucusu olan Lipman'ın oluşturduğu tüm eğitim öğretim kademelerini kapsayan müfredat yapısı sunulmuştur. İkinci bölümde ise MEB'in öğretim program (müfredat) amacı, değerleri, yetkinlikleri ve felsefesi hakkında bilgi verilecek ve temel derslerin (Türkçe, Hayat Bilgisi, Fen Bilgisi, Matematik) programları detaylı bir şekilde incelenerek sunulmuştur. Üçüncü bölümünde ise tezin yazımında hangi araştırma yöntemin kullanıldığı açıklanmıştır. Tezin dördüncü bölümünde ilk iki bölümde sunulan bilgiler dahilinde iki yapının eğitim dünyasındaki duruş ve ilkelerinin benzerlik ve uygunlukları sahada yapılan çeşitli akademik çalışmalarla desteklenerek sunulmuştur. Sonuç kısmında ise alana dair önerilerle birlikte genel değerlendirme yapılmıştır.

Özet (Çeviri)

The thesis consists of five parts. In these five parts, a review and suggestion study will be conducted on the objectives and achievements of the curriculum of the third grade of elementary school according to the philosophy for children method (P4C). In the first part, the definition of the Philosophy for Children (P4C) method, its history, its objectives, the applicative dimension of the method, the role of the teacher and the curriculum covering all educational levels created by Lipman, who is the founder of the method, will be presented. In the second part, information will be given about the purpose, values, skills and philosophy of the curriculum (syllabus) of the Ministry of National Education, and the syllabi of the basic courses (Turkish, life science, science, mathematics) will be examined in detail and presented together with the acquisition programs. In the third part of the thesis, the research method of the thesis is presented. In the fourth part of the thesis within the framework of the information presented in the first two chapters, the similarities and compatibility of the position and principles of the two structures in the world of education will be shown by various academic studies in the field. In the conclusion part of the thesis, a general evaluation was made with suggestions about the field.
