Özet
17. Yüzyıl Büyük Britanya Krallığı için köklü siyasal, toplumsal, ekonomik ve dini değişikliklerin meydana geldiği bir dönemdir. İngiliz düşünür Roger Acherley (1665-1740)'de devrimler yüzyılı olarak adlandırılan bu dönemde yaşamıştır. Akademik çalışmalarının yanı sıra, siyasetle de ilgilenen düşünür aynı zamanda dönemin iyi yetişmiş hukukçularındandır. Acherley'in siyaset felsefesi anlayışı dönemsel şartlarla şekillenmiş olup, kendine özgü ve kendinden sonraki dönemi etkileyen düşünceler içermektedir. Bu düşünceler genel olarak anayasa, anayasanın ihlalleri, anayasanın korunması, yönetim biçimleri ve siyaset felsefesine ait bazı toplumsal sözleşme ve özel mülkiyet kavramları üzerine kurulmuştur. Düşünürün siyaset felsefesi anlayışını diğer siyaset felsefesi anlayışlarından farklı kılan şey ise dönemin Britanya Krallığında uygulanması düşünülen sınırlandırılmış monarşi fikri ve mevcut yönetim biçimlerini temsilen kurulan üç farklı zümreden oluşturulan üçlü zümre adlı yapıdır. Bu çalışmalar sonucunda 17. Yüzyılda modern İngiliz toplumunun ilk adımları atılmış, ilk parlamenter devlet yapısı şekillenmeye başlamış ve İngiltere'nin dünyadaki pozisyonu değişmiştir.

The 17th century represented a period of profound political, social, economic, and religious change in the Kingdom of Great Britain. The English philosopher Roger Acherley (1665-1740) lived during this period, which was known as the century of revolutions. Besides his academic work, the political thinker was also one of the well-trained lawyers of the time. Acherley's understanding of political philosophy is fashioned through periodic conditions and contains ideas that are unique and influence the period after him. These ideas are generally based on the constitution, violations of the constitution, the protection of the constitution, forms of governance, and some concepts of the social contract and private property belonging to political philosophy. What makes the British thinker's understanding of political philosophy different from other political philosophies is the trilateral group formed from three different factions, which represented the idea of a restricted monarchy and current forms of governance intended to be implemented in the Kingdom of Britain at the time. As a result of these studies, the 17th century was a time in the first years, the first steps of modern British society were taken, the first parliamentary state structure began to take shape and Britain's position in the world changed.
