Özet
Bu tez, İspir yöresi efsane ve inanç anılarının, kaybolmalarını önlemek ve halk bilimi çalışmalarına katkı sunmak amaçları doğrultusunda bir kültür hizmeti olması temennisiyle hazırlanmıştır. Bu amaçlarla araştırma sahasına çıkılmış ve 177 kişiye ulaşılarak yapılan derleme çalışmaları sonucu 131 efsane ile 395 inanç anısı (memorat) derlenmiştir. Giriş bölümünde; araştırma sahası, araştırmanın amacı, kapsamı, yöntemi, önemi ve derleme çalışmaları sırasında karşılaşılan durumlar hakkında kısa bilgiler verilmiştir. Araştırma sahasının konuşma dili özelliklerine değinilerek metinlerin kaynak kişilerin konuştukları şekliyle yazılmış hâllerinin anlaşılırlığına katkı sunulmak istenmiştir. Birinci Bölüm'de efsane ve inanç anısı kavramları üzerinde durulmuş, efsane ve inanç anılarının sınıflandırılması ile ilgili çalışmalara değinilmiştir. Efsane ve inanç anısı karşılaştırması yapıldıktan sonra aralarındaki farklılıklar dikkate alınarak İspir efsane ve inanç anılarının sınıflandırılması yapılmıştır. İkinci Bölüm'de 110 efsane, 40 inanç anısı metni Stith Thompson'ın Motif-Index Of Folk-Literature adlı çalışmasına göre incelenmiş ve ardından elde edilen sonuçlara göre motiflerin genel dağılımı ve anlatı konularının motif dağılımındaki yeri değerlendirilmiştir. Motif yapısı incelenen metinlerin tüm konu başlıklarını örneklendirecek şekilde kapsayıcı olmasına dikkat edilmiştir. Üçüncü Bölüm'de derlenen metinler önce anlatıcıların konuştukları şekliyle yani yöre ağzıyla yazılmış, ardından ağız özelliği ile yazılan her metnin altına standart Türkiye Türkçesindeki hâli verilmiştir. Sonuç kısmında İspir ve yöresinin tam bir anlatı deryası olduğu bulgusu doğrultusunda genel çıkarımlarda bulunulmuştur. Bu yüksek lisans tezi; kaynak kişi listesi, kaynaklar, araştırma sahasına ait haritalar, mahallelerin eski-yeni isimlerini gösteren bir tablo ve araştırma sahasında çekilen fotoğraflar ile sona ermektedir.

This thesis has been prepared in order to prevent the disappearance of the legends and memory of faith of the İspir region and to contribute to the studies of folklore with the hope that it will serve as a cultural service. For these purposes, the research area was reached, and as a result of the compilation studies, 131 legends and 395 memories of faith (memorates) were compiled by reaching 177 people. In the introduction section; a brief information is given about the research area, the purpose of the research, the scope of the research, the method of the research, importance of the research and the situations encountered during the compilation studies. It is aimed to contribute to the understanding of the written versions of the texts as spoken by the source persons by referring to the spoken language features of the research area. In the First Chapter, the concepts of legend and memory of faith are emphasized, and studies on the classification of legends and of faith memories are mentioned. After comparing the legend and faith memory, the classification of legend and faith memories of İspir was made by considering the differences between them. In the Second Chapter, 110 legends and 40 faith memory were analyzed in accordance with Stith Thompson's Motif-Index of Folk-Literature, and then, according to the results obtained, the general distribution of motifs and the place of narrative subjects in the motif distribution were evaluated. Attention was paid to the inclusiveness of the texts, whose motif structure was examined, in a way that exemplifies all the subject headings. In the Third Chapter, compiled texts were first written as the narrators spoke, that is, in the villagism, and then the standard Turkish version of each text was given under every text written in dialect feature. In the Conclusion Section, general inferences were made in line with the finding that İspir and its region are such a sea of narration. This master's thesis ends with the resource person list, the sources, maps of the research area, a table showing the old and new names of the neighborhoods and photographs taken in the research area.
