Özet
İnsanlık tarihi boyunca birçok medeniyet ve ırk göç etmiştir. İnsanlığın doğasının bir parçası olan göç, bazı durumlarda zorunlu olarak gerçekleşmiştir. Lozan Görüşmeleri esnasında,“Yunanistan”ve“Türkiye”arasında imzalanan zorunlu nüfus değişimi antlaşması bunlardan birisi olarak tarihe geçmiştir. Bu antlaşma sonrasında sayıları milyonları bulan mübadiller; evlerini, anıları, mezarlarını, geleceğe dair olan bütün hayallerini geride bırakarak başka bir ülkeye zorunlu olarak göç etmek durumunda kaldılar. Hem Yunanistan hem de Türkiye, mübadillerin hayatlarını yeniden kurabilmeleri için onları üretime katmaya çalışmıştır. İki ülkenin de ekonomisinde önemli bir yer olan tarımsal üretim, mübadillerin katkı sağlayabilecekleri alan olarak ortaya çıkmıştır. Bu tezin amacı, çiftçi mübadillerin hem Yunanistan'daki hem de Türkiye'deki tarımsal üretime ne derece entegre oldukları araştırmaktır. Çiftçi mübadillerin yerleştirilişleri, devlet tarafından toplandırılarak üretime geçiş süreçleri incelenmiştir. Üretime katılan çiftçi mübadillerin, hangi ürünleri ürettiği ve göç ettikleri ülke tarımına katkılarının ne olduğu ortaya konulmuştur.

Throughout human history, many civilizations and races have migrated. Migration, which is a part of the nature of humanity, has been compulsory in some cases. During the Lausanne Negotiations, the compulsory population exchange agreement signed between“Greece”and“Turkey”was one of them. After this treaty, the emigrants, whose numbers reached millions, were forced to migrate to another country, leaving their homes, memories, graves, and all their dreams for the future behind. Both Greece and Turkey tried to include the exchanges in production so that they could rebuild their lives. Agricultural production, which has an important place in the economy of both countries, has emerged as an area where emigrants can contribute. The aim of this thesis is to investigate the extent to which farmer emigrants are integrated into agricultural production in both Greece and Turkey. The settlements of the farmer emigrants, the collection by the goverment and the processes of transition to production were examined. It has been revealed what products the farmer emigrants participating in the production produced, and what their contributions were to the agriculture of the country they migrated to.
