Özet
Amaç: Bu araştırmanın amacı Sosyal Bilgiler dersi içerisinde öğretmenlerin internet kullanımlarının incelenmesidir. Bu kapsamda Sosyal Bilgiler dersinde öğretmelerin internet kullanımının öğrenci başarılarına ve öğretmen-öğrenci ilişkisine etkilerine dair görüşleri incelenecektir. Ayrıca internet kullanımının avantaj ve dezavantajları da araştırılacaktır. Diğer alt problemler ise öğretmenlerin derslerinde internet kullanımına dair görüşlerinin öğretmenlerin kırsal-kentsel bölgede çalışmaları ile ilişkisi ve internet kullanımına dair görüşlerinin öğretmenlerin cinsiyetlerine göre farklılık gösterip göstermediğidir. Yöntem: Araştırmada nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden temel nitel araştırma kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu 2020-2021 eğitim-öğretim yılı Erzurum ilinde görev yapan 12 Sosyal Bilgiler öğretmeni oluşturmuştur. Araştırma verileri yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme ve yarı yapılandırılmış gözlem formu kullanılarak toplanıp içerik analizine tabi tutulmuştur. Bulgular: Elde edilen bulgulara göre Sosyal Bilgiler dersinde internet kullanımın öğrenci ders başarısına olumlu yansıdığı görülmüştür. Çalışmaya katılan öğretmenlerin bir kısmına göre derste internet kullanımı beraberinde derse karşı olumlu tutum oluşumunu getirmekte, zengin içerik sunmakta, somutlaştırmayı kolaylaştırmakta ve öğrenci-öğretmen iletişimini desteklemektedir. Bunun yanında öğretmenlerin bazılarına göre ise bilgi kirliliğine sebep olmakta, yaratıcılığı engellemekte, öğrencileri hazırcılığa alıştırmakta ve öğrenci öğretmen iletişimini olumsuz etkilemektedir. Ayrıca çalışmaya katılan öğretmenlerin bir kısmına göre derste internet kullanımı görev yaptıkları bölgenin kırsal veya merkez olma durumundan etkilenirken bir kısmına göre etkilenmemektedir. Sonuç ve Öneriler: Sosyal Bilgiler dersinde öğretmenin İnternet kullanımının öğrenci başarısına yansıması, avantajları ve dezavantajları ile ilgili çalışmada elde edilen bulgular ilgili alan yazınla paralellik göstermiştir.

Purpose: The purpose of this research is to examine the Internet usage of teachers in the Social Studies lesson. In this context, teachers' views on the effects of Internet use in Social Studies lessons on student achievement and teacher-student relationship. In addition, the advantages and disadvantages of using the Internet will be investigated. One of other subproblems is the relationship between teachers' views on internet use in lessons and working in rural or urban areas. The last subproblem is whether teachers' views on internet use in their classes differ according to their gender. Method: In the research, basic qualitative research, one of the qualitative research methods, was used. The sample group of the research is 12 Social Studies teachers working in Erzurum at the 2020-2021 academic year. Research data were collected using semi-structured interview and semi-structured observation form, then subjected to content analysis. Results: According to the findings, it was seen that the use of the Internet in the Social Studies course had a positive effect on the students' achievement in the course. According to some of the participant teachers, the use of the internet in the course brings about the formation of positive attitudes towards the course, provides rich content, facilitates concretization, and supports student-teacher communication, while according to others, it causes information pollution, prevents creativity, accustoms students to preparation, and negatively affects student-teacher communication. In addition, according to some of the participating teachers, the use of the Internet in the course is affected by the rural or central location of the region where they work, while according to some of them it is not. Conclusion and Suggestions: The findings obtained in the study about the reflection of the teacher's use of the Internet in the Social Studies course on the student's success, its advantages and disadvantages showed parallelism with the relevant literature.
