Özet
Amaç: Bu çalışmada, lisans düzeyinde verilen temel sanat eğitiminde heykelin plastik öğelerinin farklı malzemelerle uygulamalı örnekler üzerinden çözümlenmesi, eğitsel bilgi olarak heykel eğitimindeki öneminin vurgulanması ve görsel etkilerinin araştırılması amaçlanmaktadır. Yöntem: Betimsel araştırma modeline dayalı bu tez çalışmasında, lisans düzeyindeki öğrenciye sanatın temel ilkelerinden başlayarak birikim oluşturması ve çağdaş eserler üretmesi konusunda ampirik analiz yöntemi ile özgün bir bakış açısı kazandıracaktır. Bulgular: Malzeme ve forma dayalı temel sanat eğitimi kapsamındaki uygulamalı etütlerde, heykelin plastik öğelerinin eğitsel olarak kazandırılması daha sonraki aşamalarda tasarım ve uygulama için öğrenciye yetkinlik ve farkındalık kazandırmaktadır. Buna ek olarak temel sanat eğitimi dersinde yapılan uygulamalı etütlerde her plastik öğenin uygulamanın içeriğine, kullanılan malzemeye ve kompozisyona bağlı olarak farklı görsel etkiler yarattığı tespit edilmiştir. Sonuç: Heykel alanında verilen temel sanat eğitimi içeriğinde plastik öğelerin heykel üretim sürecine katkı sağlayacak şekilde ele alınması ve uygulamalı örnekler üzerinden görsel deneyimin arttırılması oldukça önemlidir. Edinilen kuramsal ve uygulama bilgisi, heykel alanında üretim sürecini pozitif yönde etkilerken, öğrenci için farkındalık kazandıracaktır.

Objective: In this study, it is aimed to analyze the plastic elements of sculpture through applied examples with different materials in the basic art education given at the bachelor's degree level, to emphasize the importance of sculpture education as educational information and to investigate its visual effects. Method: Based on the descriptive research model, this thesis study will provide the bachelor's degree student with a unique perspective on creating knowledge and producing contemporary works, starting from the basic principles of art, with the empirical analysis method. Findings: In the applied studies within the scope of material and form-based basic art education, the educational acquisition of the plastic elements of the sculpture gives the student competence and awareness for design and application in the later stages. In addition, it has been determined that each plastic item creates different visual effects depending on the content of the application, the material used and the composition in the applied studies made in the basic art education course. Result: It is very important to consider plastic elements in the context of the basic art education given in the field of sculpture in a way that will contribute to the sculpture production process and to increase the visual experience through applied examples. The theoretical and practical knowledge gained will positively affect the production process in the field of sculpture and will raise awareness for the student.
