Özet

For statistical mathematics and stochastic process, well-known Monte Carlo methods / simulations can be used. It has become highly popular over the years due to these technics' application variations in terms of sampling, simulations, forecasting and risk analysis. Markov Chain Monte Carlo (MCMC) method is the derivation of Monte Carlo (MC) method and Metropolis - Hastings algorithm is the one of the commonly used MCMC technic. In this paper as an extension of MCMC methodology, we will focus on the comparison between a unique long MCMC and short parallel chains for Bayesian Inference. In Chapter 1, we focus on Bayes Theorem, Markov Chain and brief summary of Metropolis - Hastings Method. Chapter 2, is dedicated to move forward and provide more details on Advanced Metropolis - Hastings Methods. In Chapter 3, simulations, work done, comparisons and analysis on the results are explained. Chapter 4 consists of conclusions on the experiments conducted, future work with respect to this research area, and references used.
