Özet
Bu çalışma, travayda duşun doğum sürecine, memnuniyete ve konfora etkisini belirlemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklemini İstanbul ilinde bir eğitim ve araştırma hastanesinde normal vajinal doğum yapmış 94 gebe oluşturmuştur. Veriler yüz yüze görüşme yöntemiyle toplanmıştır. Veri toplama araçları olarak Tanıtıcı Bilgi Formu, Doğum Memnuniyet Ölçeği, Doğum Konforu Ölçeği, VAS Ağrı Ölçeği ve VAS Anksiyete Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada elde edilen veriler SPSS for Windows 22.0 programı kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Verilerin değerlendirilmesinde tanımlayıcı istatistiksel yöntemleri olarak sayı, yüzde, ortalama, standart sapma kullanılmıştır. Bağımsız gruplarda kategorik değişkenlerin oranları arasındaki farklar Ki-Kare ve Fisher exact testleri ile analiz edilmiştir. Araştırma değişkenlerinin normal dağılım gösterip göstermediğini belirlemek üzere Kurtosis (Basıklık) ve Skewness (Çarpıklık) değerleri incelenmiştir. Çalışmamızda travayda uygulanan duşun doğum konforu (p=0.036<0.05) ve doğum memnuniyetini (p=0.000<0.05) olumlu etkilediği belirlenmiş olup duşta geçirilen sürenin ve duş sayısının ağrı, anksiyete, doğum memnuniyeti ve konforu etkilemediği saptanmıştır (p>0.05). Duş sonrası gebelerin ağrı (p=0.005<0.05) ve anksiyete (p=0.001<0.05) puanlarındaki azalma anlamlı bulunmuştur. Doğum konforu arttıkça ve doğumdan memnuniyetin arttığı belirlenmiştir.

This study was carried out to determine the effect of shower in labor on the birth process, satisfaction and comfort. The sample of the study consisted of 94 pregnant women who had a normal vaginal delivery in a training and research hospital in Istanbul. The data were collected by face-to-face interview method. Introductory Information Form, Birth Satisfaction Scale, Birth Comfort Scale, VAS Pain Scale and VAS Anxiety Scale were used as data collection tools. The data obtained in the research were analyzed using the SPSS for Windows 22.0 program. Number, percentage, mean and standard deviation were used as descriptive statistical methods in the evaluation of the data. Differences between the ratios of categorical variables in independent groups were analyzed with Chi-square and Fisher's exact tests. Kurtosis (Kurtosis) and Skewness (Skewness) values were examined to determine whether the research variables showed a normal distribution. In our study, it was determined that the shower applied during labor had a positive effect on birth comfort (p=0.036<0.05) and birth satisfaction (p=0.000<0.05), and it was determined that the time spent in the shower and the number of showers did not affect pain, anxiety, birth satisfaction and comfort (p>0.05). The decrease in pain (p=0.005<0.05) and anxiety (p=0.001<0.05) scores of pregnant women after shower was found to be significant. It was determined that as birth comfort increased and birth satisfaction increased.
