Özet
Amaç: Otizm Spektrum Bozukluğu (OSB) tanısı almış çocukların gelişimsel sorunlarını çözme temel amacı ile bir vakanın öncelikli olarak motor gelişim becerilerini hedefleyen ve bununla birlikte diğer gelişim alanlarındaki etkilerinin incelemesi amaçlanmıştır. Gereç ve Yöntem: Araştırmada karma araştırma yöntemi ve açımlayıcı sıralı desen ile çalışılmıştır. Katılımcı 5 yaşında OSB tanısı almış bir erkek çocuğudur. Veriler nicel boyutta BüKBÖT ve Denver II testleri ile elde edilmiştir. Nitel boyutta gözlem, bireysel görüşme ve alan notlarından faydalanılmıştır. Çocuğun problemlerine özgü temelinde motor becerileri kapsayan 6 aylık bir program tasarlanmıştır. Testler eğitime başlamadan ve eğitim bitiminde ilk ve son test şeklinde tekrar edilmiştir. Bulgular: Hazırlanan 6 aylık motor gelişim programından önce ve sonra yapılan testler incelendiğinde BüKBÖT alt boyutları nesne kontrol ve lokomotor becerilerinde gelişim görülmüştür. Denver II testinin tüm alt boyutlarında gelişme görülmüştür. Nitel yöntemler ile takibini yaptığımız diğer parametrelerde önemli gelişmeler sağlanmıştır. Sonuç: Sonuç olarak hazırlanan 6 aylık motor gelişim temelli programının OSB tanılı çocuğun gelişim parametrelerinde ilerleme sağladığı bulunmuştur. Çocukların gelişim sürecinde motor gelişim parametrelerinin önemi bu çalışmayla da desteklenmiştir.

Objective: It is aimed to investigate the effects of a case primarily targeting motor development skills and also its effects on other developmental areas, with the main aim of solving the developmental problems of children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Materials and methods: In the study, mixed research and explanatory sequential design are used. The participant is a 5-year- old boy diagnosed with ASD. The data are obtained with the quantitative scale Test of Gross- Motor Development (TGMD-II) and Denver- II tests. In the qualitative dimension, observation, individual interviews, and field notes are used. A 6- month program covering motor skills are designed on the basis of the child's problems. The tests are repeated before the training and at the end of the training in the form of the pre and posttest. Results: When the tests are performed before and after the designed 6- month motor development are investigated, it is found that there is an improvement in the sub- dimensions of TGMD-II, object control and locomotor skills. Improvements are observed in all sub- dimensions of the Denver- II test. Significant improvements have been achieved in other parameters that we monitor with qualitative methods. Conclusion: As a result, it is found that the 6-month motor development- based program designed improve the developmental parameters of the child with ASD. The importance of motor development parameters in the development process of children is also supported by this study.
