The aim of the study, to investigate the effect of the self-compassion (SC) level on disordered eating behavior (ED) and shame and guilt feelings among young adults. Participants have chosen from the non-clinical sample who are Turkish citizens who live in Turkey and different foreign countries. The participants' age range is determined between 18- 35. The study has been conducted with participants in experimental design and participants were assigned the experimental group and control group randomly. In the study, the SelfCompassion Scale (SCS), Eating Disorder Examination Questionnaire (EDE-Q), and Shame and Guilt Scales are used. Scales were divided into two parts as pre-test and post-test by choosing the questions randomly for each test. Data were collected from the participants via Google Form and the experimental group also received self-compassion exercises on Google Form. The results showed that self-compassion level influences eating concerns which are increasing it and decreasing the weight concerns. Also, the results of the experimental group and control were not significant. For further researches, using a more interactive communication level in the study might differ in the results regarding those variables in the study.
